I hope Onomah does well this season, I saw clips of him for England this summer and hope he can put them performances in for us.

Talking about bulking up, KWP doesn't look as slim as he once was, not huge, but a difference in physique

Harry Winks' upper arms have really grown.

His shoulders look bigger and in general looks bigger than before imo

I don't post in here normally being away from the uk & seeing very little of our youth but all these comments strike me as if there's likely a decent plan going on in the background

Respectively, I'm not sure what is being added by repeating yourself at this point- I think I've demonstrated my sincerity in posting this info here.
Just wasn't sure you saw my initial response. Really appreciate your rethink though.

looks like josh might've bulked up a bit over the summer - https://twitter.com/SpursD22/status/888093106498920448

also some encouraging comments here from someone at the open training sessions:

Was Onomah. He seemed to put on lots of muscle when I met him. Expecting big things.

Seemed that way. Ironically, Mousa and Josh were on the same side in the training match, and linked together quite well. Possible pairing.

Onomah looked really sharp. Great footwork, passing, goals. Expecting a big season from him. Seemed to play in the central midfield role

Seemed that way. Collected the ball from defense. And also found his way in the attack. From what I saw he scored two goals.

Absolutely. Seemed to play a linking role between defense and attack (B2B) in the training match. Looked very sharp.

Josh definitely looks like he's bulked up from the footage and photos I've seen. Really hope he can make an impact this season. He has everything to make it, just needs to believe he can do it and grab the chance when it comes.

watching Phil Foden start for Man City yesterday sums up what I'm talking about. intelligent play, busting a gut off the ball even when he was tired, getting into space, constantly demanding the ball off world class players. Pep was absolutely singing his praises last night. this is what Edwards has to bring to 1st team level or Poch won't play him

Bit hard when he doesn't get the chance isn't it! We've seen cameos twice in mix and match teams, where he certainly hasn't looked out of place or lazy.

Throw Marcus into a match with our first team players and you will see his true desire and ability. In his little cameo against Juve last season you could instantly see he was on the likes of lamelas wave length, drifting in to great positions and making himself available.

Anybody wonder why Marcus Edwards wasn't on the plane to the USA ??.....maybe this article goes some way to explaining :
http://playingfor90.com/2017/07/21/tottenham-locked-contract-standoff-marcus-edwards/

Hope we manage to keep him....really promising young talent.

That article most likely was done due to what's written here. But Im sure people will use it to validate their opinion here. Those who write articles on sites like that usually have no clue about what's happening.

Onomah' a big boy isn't he. CCV is a unit and Josh makes him look small.

Looking forward to seeing a Winks/Onomah pivot at some point this season.

With onomah emergency in the CM role this summer ,I wonder if we might see winks further forward in AM role.I could easily seem him like a David silva role.Would make sense as really winks onomah dembele are now 3 for one spot.
More on bulking up.Dele is really starting to look like a man ,sure has grown as well looks a good inch taller than Toby now.

I doubt it. Winks isn't mobile enough. He's fine in the broader spaces of deeper midfield but I don't think he has the quick feet or the range of movement that someone in AM needs. In AM acceleration counts for a lot because the distances that can make all the difference are very short, 5, 10 yards max. Winks is not a player with a burst of acceleration. He needs plenty of pitch to gamble through if he's going to move the ball forward on his own.

Sorry, but I really think this is inaccurate. In fact, when watching Winks, I think the complete opposite - he's very capable of accelerating/bursting through the midfield. He's quite quick for a CM.
