If we want a CB we may take a look at Le Normand from Real Sociedad (contract expires in 2026). Seems to have a similar profile as VVD, anyone has watched Real Sociedad games to further comment on him?

Two young highly rated Swedish forwards are Momodou Sonko and Jonah Kusi-Asari.

And its very safe to assume that if Johan Lange was following the Allsvenskan to watch Bergvall, then these are two players that would 100% be on his radar.

The only issue is that both these players only just recently moved clubs, with Sonko moving to Gent and Kusi-Asari moving to Bayern. Maybe Gent would be happy to flip Sonko on for a quick an easy profit though, and maybe having Tel sign a new contract has Kusi-Asari second guessing his decision?

I can't think of any other options though as surely Gustaf Nilsson isn't of the required quality?

Brentford apparently only want £30-40m for Toney.

Still think he would be the ideal profile upfront for us.

I'm surprised it would be that low, and I also wouldn't be surprised to see Arsenal go in for him as they are lacking an out and out striker.

Yeah I think he probably ends up there. Or maybe even Chelsea if they decide to stop signing only 16 year olds 🤣

Sesko and Williams have a €50m buy out clause each

Would be extremely smart to trigger those and get them done early. £85m for the pair seems great value

Annoying the links with Chelsea and Williams getting stronger though
Add Bakayoko €50m and Werner €15m and we are almost done. That's around £140m
£140m on the forward line and then we are almost done?

We have four signings in our history that has been over €50m, so the chances of us signing three of them in the same window + Werner seems pretty slim.

Now this is the scouting thread where all our dreams can come true, but many people go from this to overly criticising our current players.

Kulusevski who less than a month ago wrote "A Letter to Spurs Fans" on the players tribune, now needs to be sold, or at best be 2nd option AM and 3rd option RW.

I thought he was really quite poor against us on Sunday, not surprised he got hooked early, and statistically speaking he isn’t particularly remarkable, see below, but he has put in some impressive displays, has decent G/A numbers (4 goals and 7 assist in 31 games) and one has to take into consideration the team he plays for. I’m sure he will 100% be on the list as he is HG and NF look to have some financial issues but he wouldn’t necessarily be my first choice personally. You are right tho I’m sure we will be looking at players like MGW, Gudmundsson, Olmo etc, that sort of versatile forward.

Not a patch on GLC, only thing about him is homegrown and a big hope he’ll improve upon leaving Forest.

Football wise? Yes.

Personality and attitude? No thank you.

Ange goes for attitude and character as much as the football side, so I doubt we'll go anywhere near him.

Nusa would be the likely candidate with the recent history but could quite conceivably be Konstantelias for PAOK who looks a talent but much like Baena, someone who would be more a Maddison understudy than a winger/wide forward.

This thread is for players you think would be good additions etc, exactly the same as the previous incarnations of this thread.

We have a forum for Transfers, use it for discussion of that please, this isn't the place. If you see a (credible) link, we've also supplied a thread in the Transfer section for requests for player threads. So none of that "I Didn't know where to post this" bollocks. You're well catered for but you need to play the game :woot:

Let's see how we get on ;)
So I’m guessing my post in hincapie was deleted because I mentioned I’d seen a link to him as well as saying he’d be good for lcb who can also cover lb. If I’d just started with “I like the look of hincapie” instead of “I saw a link to hincspie” would that post have been ok? Feels like a pretty fine line, just saying…

And yes I am already banned from the transfer forum so I couldn’t just post in there, hence why I want to make sure I get it right here !!

If it's not out and out strikers the ITK is alluding to (which I thought it was) then maybe Roony is a target as well?

What about Olmo as a winger? He has a 52m euros buy-out clause.
Olmo as a profile would be perfect for a Gio replacement, assuming he goes, as he can also cover the wings. In general he’s a classy player but I would be very surprised if we went for him for one reason.

This is Olmo’s injury record over the last three seasons…

By comparison this is Lo Celso’s from the same period, a player who a lot of people want rid due to the amount of injuries he gets.

Linked with Hugo Larsson (CM) today, also in the top list of willing runners:

Mentioned him a few pages back, big talent imo. Was planning on writing an outline of him when I have the time. More of a CM then a DM but looks a really good prospect so wouldn’t be surprised in the least we are interested.

(On an aside I would probably leave transfer links out of this thread as it might get closed again. If it’s a legit link put it in the credible links thread. Only mention as it’s already happened a few times)
