Not a fan of many Grand Slams audiences. The French Open they just boo everything and don't shut up and in Wimbledon these slags are squirting at every shot returned. Shut the fuck up.

Can't remember ever seeing Federer playing this well and that's ridiculous in itself. First serve has just been unreal . Murray has done well just to be fighting and taking the sets close, only him and Novak wouldn't be getting demolished right now.

The only difference has been the first serves. Murrays not as robust and has put him in trouble when it counted.

Shame Murray couldn't have taken a set off him as I still think Fed wouldn't be able to do 5 sets with him.

Alas another Djokovic title beckons.

If Federer plays like that on Sunday I think he'll win.

Whether he can play that well again is another matter, but he was phenomenal today. Murray didn't play badly by any means, especially considering the pressure he was under, but he just wasn't good enough.

Best player ever.

I know its weird that my first post on a spurs forum comes in a tennis thread, but the other spurs forum i use don't have one of these. I will just say this: WOW. I am a big Federer fan, and if he can keep this up on Sunday, i think he will finally win a grand slam again. He is such a maestro, and impressive how good his serves was today. None of them were in the middle.

BTW, hello everyone, big Spurs fan from Copenhagen (have been following the club since 09/10)

Incredible display, the guy just floats around the court. That was like watching a masterclass from 5 years ago.

The scary thing was that Murray actually played a very high quality match but some of the angles Fed was forcing were just outrageous.

Would love to see him lift the trophy on Sun but just feel that Djokovic will ask more questions and knock him out of his comfort zone more than Murray did.

That Murray service game at 5-4 down in the 2nd set is probably one of the greatest single games I've ever seen

Best I've seen Federer play since the 2010 Australian final, which was also against Murray. He was absolutely phenomenal. Not once did I genuinely think Andy had a chance of breaking Fed's serve, and that's not to say Murray played badly. I'm a massive fan of Murray, but I've got to say this is the first time I've ever seen him lose and be delighted, knowing that the greatest player of our generation has a chance to surpass the Wimbledon record he holds with Sampras.

Best of luck to him, I'll be fully on his side come Sunday.

Despite my previous post I celebrated him winning that service game probably more than I celebrated either of his Grand Slam wins. It was engrossing!
