Drinks menu at Brisbane Rd, wonder if Levy will ask them to up the prices when Spurs Women play there, beer around 20% cheaper than WHL.

Alcohol

Budweiser (pint): £4

IPA Ale (pint): £4

Bulmers cider: £3.80

Red/White/Rose wine: £3.80

I don’t know too much about her, apart from what I saw at the Euros.. was hoping we’d sign a more established striker (was mildly annoyed that Villa signed Daly and we didn’t ?) but if she improves out attack then I can’t complain! Look forward to seeing more of what she’s about.

I’m living just down the road so will pop in for a few this year I reckon.

Anyone know if there is parking close to the stadium for match against Man U? Do the schools etc. operate parking for the women's match? Taking arthritic family member but she is not a blue badge holder. Any ideas welcome.

I think the council's rule is that restrictions have to be in place if we have an attendance of over 10k, so the club will probably decide on this nearer the time depending on how many tickets we sell. If it's over that number, there will likely be the exact same restrictions as for the men's matches which I believe are quite strong.

Be close if they do sell out all lower tiers in E/W/N stands as the capacity is about 10,000 on those tiers , I doubt premium seats are being offered on general sale for the game so that knocks a few hundred off the total and the away section I assume is being offered to Man U fans but will they get 3,000 to the game unlikely.

I watched the game last night, just didn’t seem to work first half. You could tell that they were fitter and sharper than us, which wasn’t surprising seeing as they’re in the middle of their season. Looked much better second half when Neville was moved to right back and James came on.

Yeah, its actually quite rare to even have this much of a public schedule in pre season. I imagine we may also play a couple of lower teams closer to the season.
Yeah I think so too, especially with so many squad changes, we need as much game time as possible to figure out the best 11.
Agree with your point on left back too… I’d rather not see Neville used there too much. Especially how good she is at right back.

Anyone remember that time two weeks ago when this page was buzzing with chat about investment and backing? You all hiding in the shadows or did you just want something to fucking moan about when you didn't have a fucking clue?! :ROFLMAO:
Hopefully there'll be a bit more engagement once the season actually starts. I for one certainly intend to watch a few games. But like a lot of people I'm pretty new to this side of the game and don't really have much to contribute yet. To be honest, I don't think you're really helping - how do you expect people to start posting about something they're trying to get into when, rather than sharing your own knowledge and love of the game, you're just out-of-the-blue hitting out at people who haven't been around so much before? As a woman who follows Spurs, right now I feel like if I watch a game and post my thoughts on some of the players, you're going to start ranting and raving rather than actually discussing them.

Absolutely don't want to alienate people with a genuine new interest in THWFC, apologies. I shall dip from this thread from now on, as don't want to detract people away from our fantastic team. Hope you enjoy the season and we all do. COYS!
