The WSL or FA could point out that average attendances at Women's normal home games are quite low and that 12,000 tickets is a good allocation.
The higher attendances at Emirates & The Lane do show that fans prefer comfort & decent catering facilities to older style stadiums , would Spurs have got 18,000 attendance for the Women's semi at the Old Lane ?

12k isn't too bad, and after the weekend will probably be upped next year. I just think doing the general sale before the semi finals, is where my frustration is. I get people probably expected one of Chelsea and Arsenal, but I think the general sale window should be after the semis have been played.

Suppose it's a bit like world cup tickets, don't they start selling those before finalists are even known.

Its hard to say about WHL because we were in a very different place than we are now, but I think its more just that those stadiums will always been seen as the true home of the teams, so fans who don't usually go to the womens games are probably more likely to go if its held at what they see is the home of that club.

I wonder what happens if you very quickly buy tickets for Brighton and Chelsea at Brisbane Road...

This occurred to me whilst reading it. I would hope it's games BEFORE the semi final. Because people could just buy tickets and not turn up..

If it gets to the men's members I will be in the queue as just saw the pricing in the email. Bargain!

Ticket pricing for this fixture, as set by The FA, is as follows:

Adults

Category 1 (Club Wembley): £30.00

Category 2: £25.00

Concessions (applicable in all areas)

Seniors Over 65: £10.00

You might have an outside chance of it getting to members as it's only one per person for men's ST's and many will want to go as a family but I wouldn't put money on it.

Vinberg is absolutely cooking their right back. What a talent she is! Major kudos to our scouting team for identifying her, and also to the club for (apparently) getting her ahead of the other big clubs who were sniffing around. There are some really exciting youngsters in this team who look like they could go on to be incredible players.

Is there anywhere we can watch the women's games?
I know the odd ones are on the BBC iPlayer but I usually don't find out until it's too late.

Any games that arent on Sky or BBC are on FA Player (like this one - still winning 2-1 but United dominating second half)

I don't have Sky but I presume the FA Player is on YouTube?
So I can watch that on my telly through the xbox... When my daughter isn't playing bloody Minecraft!
