The Townsend-Lamela Problem

Problem solved if Townsend starts on the left and Lamela on the right next game. I'd like to the team below against Villa. As for Townsend at LB, we should give him a start there against Hull in the next round of the CoC. Harry tried him there a few times and it didn't work out but the main thing AVB wants/needs from our FB's is attacking qualities to provide width, so if we play a DM his lack of defensive ability might not be so much of an issue, especially against lesser teams. For example, to cover teams exploiting us down that side then Sandro/Capoue drops deeper and Vertonghen covers the area vacated by Townsend bombing forward. It'd need some work but Naughton can neither defend nor attack at LB so at least Townsend would be able to provide more of a threat going forward.
