Big day today for me chaps, emigrating to NY to begin a new life. When I touch down and turn on the fox soccer channel (what a pile of Shi..) I expect to see a host of new signings and a 5-0 score line. Hoping to be settled for MOTD if anyone knows how to stream that (iplayer won't work).

On the deal side I'm sending out texts and mails for any financial movement. Despite seeing a few products linked to transfers in use, I'm as clueless as the rest. 'we are trying to sign players' isnt exactly earth shattering is it

All the best.

Download a program called "NetShade" and set your ip as coming from the UK, then you will be able to use iplayer (or SkyGo) in the US or anywhere in the world.

EDIT: Or

I hope this helps

All I remember about Ruel Fox is coming back from games and hearing my uncle say how he can't pass a ball straight.

I am not an accountant, or have much knowledge of behind the scene book balancing but this Ade situation is just disgusting from the spurs board/levy. DL does his best but this.......

For 'much knowledge' we should read 'absolutely no knowledge'. Still, that won't stop you from making a completely daft comment, will it?

It's a three year visa that becomes a green card if I don't get kicked out and remain employer. A sponsored blanket visa with something ...

Dunno, I just turned up and ha the interview.

However I think its safe to say that if WE met all his demands it would still work out to be a top striker for a bargain price. Man City have gone out of their way to facilitate this transfer but no we want to drain every last drop. Even if it means going into the new season weaker.

This comment is based on what? Other than speculation & frustration. The ITK has generally pointed to the deal being delayed due to something out of our control.

I read that man city do not want to subsidize ade wages in years 3-4 in the 4 year contract we have offered. This was from an article that was practically written by Man city.

You can't blame them, it would practically wipe out any savings they would make moving him on before the end of his contract.

Do you mean us or Adebayor?

But (if its true) that proves my point. Its between Ade and City. Its not our end. We've offered a fair wage, but by the sound of it Ade wants Man City to pay full value for the contract he signed with them, while they are trying to save some money.

The only way we could influence getting him quicker is if we pay Ade the extra he is looking for - which we wouldn't do. Its a bit like the issue Vertongen had with Ajax which held up that deal.

Mancini and City made no mention of us not agreeing terms, they said it was all down to Adebayor.
