As much as we hate to admit the success of our window all depends on our rivals. If it stays the same we have won imo. That said if big signings to our rivals happen tomorrow, we havent been successful as in point of view you could say by announcing it a day before the end of the window we may of helped arsenal sign their targets from Madrid. It took me about 2 minutes to work out this guy is a step above.
Amazed at some of the mixed feedback i've read.
Let's remember the January window: everyone expecting signings last day we'd had talk of Sneijder, Damaio etc, what happens? Jenas out, Townsend loan.
Result: Underwhelmed, frustrated, #signafuckingstrikerlevy
Summer 2012: 'Welcome... Joao Moutinho'; all day waiting, then some crock of shit thing late on about papers and he wasn't even in the country.
Result: Cheesed off, underwhelmed, Clint Dempsey.
Winter 2012: Nelsen and Saha.
Result: Picketing Levy's house, mass boycotts, suicides etc
Whatever happens tomorrow: Lamela, Chiriches, Paulinho, Chadli, Eriksen, Soldado, Capoue is cracking business especially Lamela.
It's been a great ride and I remain content that this window, for once, we actually did it right.
