Based on ITKs received & signings we have made , how about this XI ?

Lloris
Walker, Musacchio, Vertonghen, Davies
Schneiderlin, Capoue
Eriksen, Lamela, Konoplyanka
Adebayor

Capoue's position is probably debatable; Atleast going by preseason he deserves teh spot. I would really like Paulinho to step up & show his form of Corinthians or Confeds. We have good options for that position in Holtby, Dembele, Bentaleb , Mason, etc...

I have picked Ade in favour of Soldado simply because of last season form and also I believe Ade is better suited for high press game than Soldado; But both of them would be perfect for this line up IMO

With Schneiderlin in, sadly Sandro goes, going by ITK;

I seriously believe such a XI could really put us on the map for a top4 or even top3 finish. Optimistic may be considering how others have improved around us.

But the fact is - we would have improved our XI from last season. With no Suarez, I would even put this XI on paper ahead of Pool squad;

Yeah, Rodriguez in January for the left sided spot instead of Kono. Bar that I think Poch's blueprint could look very similar.

Things might have changed, I don't know what the work permit rules are these days, but he played for Argentina only twice and transfermarkt doesn't mention a dual nationality. Couldn't this be a problem?

Unless I'm mistaken, I thought Jj referred to an Argentinian 18/19 year old attacking midfielder a little while back and said we would never guess his name? While I'm excited to see confirmation of hopeful progress towards Musacchio, are we a) no longer interested in this option, b) am I incorrect in my memory of that snippet, or c) still interested and this is another option altogether?

Excellent news, potentially. The only thing better would be you telling us that we'll be targeting a quality left wing forward in the next two weeks not named Jay Rodriguez.. Depay or even Remy on loan (if Levy can do a deal with QPR) would be very nice short term options.
