Imo in over 50 years following the lillywhite we hsve never had enough of this type of player
Have you been taking large penis in your mouth again? I jest of course, you seem a little angry tonight...? And yes it does matter if he has a shocker tonight. 3 in a week against weaker teams is just not on I'm afraid. X
I was joking you miserable ####. And Dawson will have a shocker tonight because unless someone kicks a ball at him and he can get his body in the way or a cross that is coming in directly on his head he isn't good enough. Some of the things he does is bloody poor to say the least.Gosh, Gibbo, I really can't cope with your scintillating repartée. Are your intelligence and wit inherited?
No, I'm not angry, not even a little bit. Sorry, but your deep psychological insight is somewhat wide of the mark.
And no, what happens in the real football world in three weeks' time is what matters, not what's happening in friendlies. I\d have thought recent history would have taught you that.
In my 48 we've had way too many.

Dawson is a Donkey! Shawcross is a younger Donkey! Goodnight.
Don't push it?? Ha ha. Your now on ignore you old miserable far more jokey bloke.Really? I assure you that I can joke far better than you, but as I've made a special promise to A&C I won't, but don't push it.
Define 'good enough'. As far as i'm concerned, only Vertonghen is.
Dawson isn't good enough for a defender playing in a top four team. And frankly, he's not good enough when you consider he was playing alongside Ledley King for his formative years. I could forgive his mistakes and his haphazard defending and his gaps in judgement if he was a kid starting out, but he's 31 this year.
I love the man for his passion and belief in the club so I'm not calling for his head or wanting to force him out (if he's happy being fourth or fifth choice then keep him on board), just the simple plain truth that he is not good enough for our ambitions and hasn't been for a while. We can't afford sentimentality as a reason for keeping a liability.
And how many times have you actually watched him?
EDIT: And some no-mark called Larryjanta dislikes this.
EDIT2: And another twat pitches in.
Frankly sir, i don't give a damn . (sorry just wanted to quote Casablanca)
Gary mabbuttBeyond Norman, England, Gough, Campbell and King I struggle to think of absolutely top-drawer CBs we've had.
And with Lovren gone, just who's left? I just don't see Vlaar and Shawcross as serious upgrades—we'll be bitching about them in a year's time.
Gotta love what a cryptic can do to rational people
This is one of the worst ITK thread performances I've ever seen...
Scoffs at someone having an opinion on a player without seeing them live (which is stupid) then gives his expert opinion of said player after commenting that he watches Stoke as little as possible.
The dog and wolf shit post is basically spot on. Shawcross is a bit better but he does not represent the style of player that we want or that I would expect Poch to want.
Here's looking at you, kid!Feel free to quote Casablanca, then. That's from Gone With the Wind.
