Di Marzio ‏talked about the Mata bid being rejected in past tense. I think it may have been days ago (post-Willian, pre-Eriksen), rather than something that happened last night.

we could bid £100m for him and that bunch of crooks would still turn it down, we are way too much of a threat to them now!
Still think we are getting countrao, it'll just have to be an individual deal as rm can't upset 'the precious one'.....

The Beeb reckon yesterday's adventures take us to 105 million in spending. With 85m for Bale and another 20m or so for Parker, Caulker, Hudd and Clint, that means we've spent practically nothing.

Fucking Levy.

Seriously though there should still be significant money to spend, and if we're looking at buyout clauses it sounds like we're happy to spend it.

And that's without considering the possible departures of Lennon, Defoe, Adebayor and Siggy.

Good morning fellow spurs fans. I guess we are the ones with young children who are now drooling over the tv while we use our time wisely in the forums trying to catch up what happened through the night.

Anyhow. I expect it to be a quiet weekend. And a mad monday.

It's like you'ved described my life perfectly.

Two kids watching Cbeebies, me on laptop excited about yesterday, reading news article after article (and youtubing our new players!).

I've given the kids a pack of bourbons to keep them extra quiet!

Got so pissed last night, but remember seeing we announced Eriksen at 9pm and was shocked beyond belief! (Not shocked he signed but the time we announced it). Was certainly Funtime Friday. Was it confirmed he's available for tomorrow?

Not expecting much ITK today. Reckon it'll quiet down over the weekend and pick up Monday morning.
