I don't think the last year or so has been much fun for any of us at SC, as we all seem to be arguing with each other all the time. Some people don't rate Comolli, some JJ, others Jol, others Ramos, others Zokora, others Dawson and the list goes on and on. I can sense it's about to happen all over again, but this time with Redknapp.

Isn't it time we all just buried the hatchet and started again with a clean slate? Lets be united and back Redknapp 100%. I'd have given anything to see BMJ come back, but it's not going to happen now. I'm sure you all had you favourites to, but there is nothing that can be done and Redknapp is a good manager. So let egt behind both him and Levy.

I'll start wiping the slate clean by saying I'm starting a fresh with Zokora. I will only say positive things about him and not mention it when i don't think he's done well. In my eyes he's a new signing.

Oh and i forgive Levy for sacking Jol.

I think we should all do the same with the players we've been slagging off.

Lets' get back to how it was during the 2005-7 period. There was a buzz at the Lane and for the first time in years it was brilliant being a Spurs fan.

I'm on board. It'll probably all end in tears as usual, but maybe we'll get a few more Carling Cup Final nights in the middle there again.

Only joking mate. You're a good egg on here and always an enjoyable read. Count me in!

Haha you must be kidding. There will be more bickering then ever before. Once that poor sod gets a bad run of results or makes a bad signing he will get hammered (no pun intended) even worse than Ramos or MJ.

The Jol-Commoli-Ramos era is now officially over. Regardless of what your viewpoint was, it was pretty clear that what everyone wanted, in principle, was for everyone to get behind the manager.

The "Jol Brigade" wanted it last year for Jol and the "Ramos Armada" wanted it this year for Ramos. If we are to take anything from this whole sorry episode, let it be that we must all get behind Harry Redknapp now.

Put your personal opinion aside, give him a chance and let the football do the talking. Whether you agree with the appointment or not, he is our new manager, and will be until the end of the season. If results don't go our way in the beginning, don't get on his back. If we hit a slump later on in the season, sing his name even louder. If we hit a shaky patch in the run-in to the season, keep the fingers crossed and the voices loud.

If we don't learn from this then, we may as well kiss our club goodbye

Damn, joey, what have you been drinking/smoking/eating and where can I get some?

No, in all seriousness, unity is very important right now. It's happened. We have Redknapp and we need to back him to the hilt.

I firmly believe that Ramos had lost the dressing room. The Bentley interview may have been the straw that broke the camel's back for Levy to act.

Strange selection choices and even weirder substitution and tactical adjustment decisions have stood out starkly as our season has lurched under way.

We now have a British manager who knows the Premiership inside out, has a very good scouting network and will enjoy his one last huge opportunity to make his name for himself.

In fact, if he sorts us out he could noe be a serious contender to succeed Cappello with our blessing.

Funny you should mention Zokora, he's EXACTLY the type of player Redknapp would've bought anyway.

Spursking must be bashing one out right about now.

Completely agree with you Joey. Unity is key. It will be interesting to see how HR gets the players performing as a team - in my mind that will be the main challenge.

HR sems to get the best out of players, so players who get targetted by the fans may start to come into their own under his guidance. I get the feeling that he works more closely with the players and that breeds team morale and confidence.

Im so fucking happy with this.

Im SURE Redknapp is the perfect man for the job. I may not have loved him in the past, but this is a guy who you can support. Someone who knows English football, who gets the best out of players, a motivator, who can spot a good player.

Ive fallen in love with Spurs again in an instant, after being disillusioned for a year

Redknapp will never have my support.

the man has no loyalty and is a corrupt, mercenary, with little or no tactical ability and who has only ever won one piece of silverware and that was because he was lucky enough to survive old trafford and play cardiff in the final.

Why should I show support for such a man? he doesn't inspire me and I dont trust him.

I hope all those who wanted to see Ramos out are happy now, because a lot of us are never going to be happy with Redknapp and we'll only have peace either with another manager or if Redknapp goes at the end of the season.

sorry joey, but there is no ''fresh start''.. wishful thinking maybe.. perhaps when Levy calls it a day, there will be some hope of getting spurs back, we could even get Jol back or perhaps Roy Keane.. but for now i guess everybody will wish redknapp the best of luck and hopefully get out of this position.. but there is no confidence in the board, none whatsoever
