There will NEVER be enough room for THudd! :p
Assuming he is fit and ready for the start of the season i think he will be in the starting 11 under AVB. Not your typical AVB player but he is smart enough to see the quality that Thudd brings. His ability to move the ball wide quickly and start counter attacks is a quality that AVB will want in his team. Some of the best games we have played in the last 2/3 season have involved a midfield of Thudd and Modric.

Do you think it was just a case of fitness Saturday - i mean the guy has had a full pre-season, surely he should be as fit as the rest of them?

I reckon he's off for sure now.

Did you watch the match on Saturday? (not having a go, just asking). Did you notice how much we were closing them down, working hard. Did you notice those in Hudd's position and how lean and energetic they looked and how they were still chasing people down in the 87th minute?

Now imagine Hudd (even when fit) trying to do that.

I agree. He's off and if not permanently, then on loan.

I did watch the game, and agree with you, it also ties in with AVB's comments about Sahin being too slow. I think it's another reason why VDV didn't start too.

It's clear we're going to be playing some high energy football this season.

Yep, I can see M'Vila joining now too.

I agree with this. I think AVB's team will need pace and lots of energy. I have always admired Thudd, but I can see now why he wouldn't fit in this style. We need real athletes with good engines to play this way.

also.. with Sandro's Agent saying earlier in the year, "Sandro could go to Italy next season.” M'Vila look like a good long term move..

Gotta agree, not even in the match day squad is a worry. I asked JJ if Thudd was off and his reply was "doub't it"...

Sky Sports understands Tottenham are ready to loan out Tom Huddlestone with Stoke the front-runners for his signature.
Huddlestone,

who missed most of last season through injury, has been informed he will be allowed to go out on loan to get some regular first-team football under his belt.

The England international underwent two ankle operations last season with his last game for Spurs coming against Manchester City

last August.

Huddlestone is now back to fitness and played on Spurs' pre-season tour of America, but it appears he is down the pecking order at White Hart Lane.
Huddlestone was left out of the squad for last weekend's opening day defeat at Newcastle

and Andre Villas-Boas is happy to let the former Derby man go out on loan.

The 25-year-old is keen to go out on loan so that he can regain his match sharpness after his spell on the sidelines and a number of clubs are chasing his signature.
Stoke are thought to be at the front of the queue for Huddlestone with Tony Pulis keen to bring in a creative spark to his midfield.

i like the hudd and think he can still do a good job for us so him going to stoke and getting some game time would be great although only if we bring in another midfielder who can be creative.

I disagree we have carling cup and Europa, Hudd will see alot of time in those competitions and if he gets his sharpness back, he would challenging for a starting spot

I would like him to go out on loan, but not to Stoke were he can learn to perfect the Art of Long ball football. Ideally swanseam Fulham, villa should really snap him up, would be great with Bent
