Think Kane just needs to focus on finding form, sharpness and match fitness first and foremost, he looked a bit sluggish (as to be expected) against Stoke.

Surprisingly City don't really have much on the bench to change things if they need to, no Aguero is obviously a plus.

They play different positions ..... How does a striker being on the bench make it harsh on Foyth?
Because a player of any position can be on the bench?!? Surely Son could deputize as striker, and there is no CB on the bench. Just saying that with the performances Foyth has put in when given the opportunity, IMO it is a bit harsh for him to not make the squad when there is an "opening" so to speak.

But we were going to have a striker on the bench... He pulls out and replaced by a striker. Let's not make 1+1 = 3 out of this .

Son's a great option to change the game off the bench, and Lamela's made for games like this. I like the lineup a lot.

Have no idea what's going to happen in this game, but feeling optimistic. COYS!

Nando dropped for personal reasons? Hope everything is ok! Seems odd, he was allegedly at the ground etc

If we make the most out of the times we pinch the ball through pressing and not be wasteful we wil win. If we fluff those opportunities we lose by a couple tbh.

Is this Henry lecturing Harry on how it's all about the team and winning the same Henry that got Pires to pass a penalty to him?

The same Henry that got Pires to pass a penalty to him? Surely if it's all about winning and the team Pires should've just shoot

He's chatting shit
I couldn't give a shit what Henry did but what he says is true regardless of whether he practised what he's preaching.

They have a point to be fair. You should always put the team first.
This is fine if the goal Kane has claimed was in detriment to the team but it wasn't, Spurs won the game.

It's been a week and they are still making a deal out of something that is quite frankly not worth the airtime or the bandwidth that has been wasted over it. Football punditry for the most part has become a joke.
