It says a lot about the situation with our club at present that the Conte, Next Manager and Takeover threads are extremely active and the transfer section is completely and utterly dead and has been for several days.

even worse when you can see most clubs in a better position than us investing or trying to invest in their squads.

Boom. Told you.
LFC fans in the replies getting aggy with this, but also (probably rightly) saying that QSI is different from a private set of investors from Qatar which was the rumour.
However, the whole thing does seem just from one random source.

It was always bollocks. No other uk journos were running with that Qatari journalists report and we all know how they like to piggyback on stories to show they know what’s going on. Nobosy did that which told me it stunk of shit from the start. Jacobs is the one to listen to. He obviously has an open line with QSI.

where Levy looks weakest is vision on the pitch. Our squad always looks Square pegs round holes, managers and players that don’t fit together. It’s as though every deal is dealt with individually and not with a wider over-arching view.

Time and time again he seems not to know how to build a squad that functions, as though squad building is just spreadsheets, buy low, sell high. I have never seen a real plan with this guy other than quick short term fixes and brinksmanship, it doesn’t work. He is outdated and we are outdated compared to others.

We haven't sold high since Walker.

In 2 weeks we will get to hear record profits. Can't wait
I could see the whole holding off on our profits was because we had "investors" and didn't want to leak it only for the "investors" to pull out in the last second...

Was driving along behind a car today and the driver kept on repeatedly dabbing the brakes for no reason. Every few seconds, even on straight bits of road where there was nothing whatsoever to worry about. Reminded me of how Levy is running the club. Constantly dabbing the brakes on any possible progress when there's a clear road ahead. He's holding us back just like the twat in front of me who had a queue of traffic behind him but was completely oblivious to it.

I can almost guarantee Levy and the board were popping champagne bottles when they finalized the financial results from last year.

It's a bunch of accountants on our board that have a different definition of success.

This is also a massive problem we have, if you're a club that has the 'buy young with potential' model, you also need to know when to sell your assets and reinvest.

Clubs like Chelsea etc can afford to take a loss on players, but even Man City are pretty good at selling players at high value.

Liverpool have won every throphy available to them since 2019. They were two(!) games away from winning the quadruple last season.

If you are in the camp that says "I do not want a Sportswashing project at Spurs, but the trophy-drought is so big that I can't stand being a Spurs fan anymore", then the below poll might be news to you.
