I saw talk about this on twitter too, apparently its just something you'd do regardless in preparation as you're being considered. I should Imagine anyone who is has one.

Isn’t that just a rehash from a few weeks back which lets be fair, was tenuous at best?

Nothing to see here guys.

Good. Don’t want their blood money.

It’s sad to say but I don’t really see any other entities being able to stump up the kind of money it would take to get a piece of the pie. Not that I wouldn’t want either of the two. (Qatari’s or Saudi’s)

There are plenty of companies with market capitalisation the hundreds of billions of USS for whom this sort of acquisition would not make much of a dent in their balance sheet.

But what I think it shows, and why you're right in your conclusion, is that they are not buying to make money, and I don't think I'm being cynical in suggesting they're not buying for a love of the game and a deep emotional connection with the club or its supporters; we all know it's sports washing , stealing our game to cover up things that they could address more directly but prefer to continue, and just use their money in the easiest way to buy blind-eyes by the million.

I think that means the choice of club is almost random process, but a large fan base is a helpful short-cut; nothing much else really matters so Tottenham are as likely or unlikely a target as any other big or potentially big club.
