I wanted the Dembele sub to happen (earlier) just as much as anyone else, but let's face it, when Dembele came on, he made no difference and you could even argue he was poor.

I guess the team got the memo about too many draws, think they got the wrong end of the stick...

So bloody frustrating watching us dominate possession constantly and yet look so unlikely to score, probably the very best I've seen us play in ages was the Everton game and all that was good for was a 1-1 draw against a side that'd been shipping goals for fun.

Been shaking my head in utter disbelief since the goal. I can't understand how we lost that. There's no way that should happen with the way we played tonight and the amount of the ball we had in and around danger zones.

Unfathomable.

So have I, but i just think it happens too often now. So many games where our play really should have resulted in more goals. All started from the first game of the season at United really in which we should have won. Is really becoming a problem now.

I'm furious.

Biggest game of the season for us, and, somehow bottled it.

4 points away from City, 2 above Utd, only 5 above Liverpool. Not looking so rosy now is it?

it was never rosy, every1 acted like we were well clear of 4th, when in reality we were only 1 game away from being level on points with a team below us in the last few weeks.

too many fucking draws and now defeats and people see the real reality.

Fair dos to Leicester for getting a result, but they are one of the most boring teams I've watched in a long while. They have quite literally bored us in to submission tonight - though we've lacked any sign of a cutting edge and have not been much good at all...

They were away from home against one of the toughest teams in the league. What did you expect them to do?

If I was a Manager I'd do exactly the same against Spurs at WHL. Keep the depth to a minimum, two banks of four and then hit it fast and direct over the full backs on the counter and hope for a clear cut chance on goal or aim to win corners and free kicks in and around the box.

Simply put, the players really didn't show for the game today. Just like the Newcastle game. We control it. Make few chances and then get counterpunched. This is why I have a hard time buying into title challenge conversations or even discussions about the top four. Because often, when we have an opportunity to knock on the door, we slip up. It's very frustrating to see us be in such a position and not know how to put the other team away. Poch got outcoached tonight. He didn't know how to counter the other team, when we started to falter. I love his Plan A. But would dearly LOVE to see him develop a workable Plan B.

No one player was responsible for us losing tonight. They all looked a bit sluggish and not very creative. Ericksen looked low on confidence and made quite a few strange mistakes. Walker was also boneheaded on numerous occasions.

That all said... we should take a step back and really look at this game. It was a fluke that Leiscter won. Their keeper made a very lucky save that hits the crossbar, and they score from a goal, where the person marking Huth fell over. Just like the rest of you, I'm totally miffed, but I'm gonna try to take a deep breath and hope that Poch can turn it around quickly.

We have Sunderland at home next week, and it's time to make some tweaks to the team. Keep it fresh. IE: Dembélé back in. Give Trippier a start. Drop Alli back to the midfield.

We dont create enough quality chances. We always get stuck trying to break teams down, and we really can't do that. Teams know exactly how to play against us now. Why? Because Poch only has his 4231 high press and thats pretty much it. He doesnt know how to change a game during play and never makes proactive substitutions. Always very late and reactive. His in game management is a huge downside with him. Always has been.

Really poor result against, let's face it; a really shite Leicester side.

We can't call Leicester shite when they are two places/7 points ahead of us and haven't lost to us this season after playing them 3 times.

61% possession
21 shots to their 10
5 on target to their 2
16 corners to their 8

We could have won 21-10 or 5-2.

We did everything but win and Leicester got lucky. They are not the first and won't be the last.

Those are the facts.
Stats are deceiving ..... We had ONE. Clear cut chance when Kane hit the bar! One clear cut chance at home to a rival

Without going over the top the players let themselves down today, first time this season but they failed.
