Whats worse is that VAR reviewed it and still give it. Its more than incompetence
The commentators were saying that the only decision to make was whether it was in or out of the box, it seems they forgot to establish whether or not it was actually a foul which it clearly wasn't. You can see a discussion between Sanchez and VARdy after the match where it is clear that he knows full well it was a con job just from the body language between the two players.

As I said yesterday I have really enjoyed this thread but I have a horrible nasty side and I haven't had enough downvotes lately and this point has been bothering me.

I have watched the 2nd penalty back several times and for the life of me I cannot see why everyone is saying it wasnt a pen.

It happens so quickly it is never 100% clear but on one angle the last shot shows Sanchez's right hand on Pikeys arm and then he goes down like a sack of spuds.

In all seriousness and in the spirit of good debating what are people seeing that I am not.
What I saw was that Sanchez never initiated the arm link, neither did he close his hand or arm over Vardy. Vardy inserted his arm into Sanchez's and fell over. It was a complete and utter nonsense that VAR didn't look at it. If we had lost 2-1 it would have had more profile because Mason would have complained about it but as we drubbed them it has had little publicity.

The problem isn’t Vardy - it’s that VAR didn’t have a quiet talk in the refs ear to say “er... actually it was Vardy who grabbed sanchez by the arm and then threw himself to the ground. Issue him a yellow card right now”

but no. And no talk about it on match of the day. So another absolute stain of a decision that blights football goes unremarked
It wasn't mentioned on MoTD because Lineker was in the chair. No one picks holes in Leicester when he's got the reins.

Vardy got pelters from White and Jordan today for the dive, and rightly so.

I know games are different when you re-watch them or know the results, but just watched the game now as I missed the game yesterday. and thought that was a pretty solid performance that felt like it turned the pages back a few years. It kind of hard to explain, when we were at our best we just kind of took control of games and just imposed ourselves on the other team and I got a sense of that yesterday. No where near those heights yet, but we controlled the game, played with our foot on the ball and the movement of the front four was positive. Just been a while since we seen us take charge of a game when going behind. Once Vardy scored the second they didn't really get a look in. Even after the first to be honest. We just imposed ourselves on them. Solid stuff.
