Perhaps I was wrong and I didn't see him involved with both of their goals after all.
he gotten beaten on the header but someone else let the guy run unmarked and Dier got there late. The second goal our right side parted like the Red Sea - nothing Dier could do.

OG on BBC sport, I heard them give it to Kane as he scored, but was always going to be changed. He's lost that half yard of pace and not getting to the ball fist a lot of the time now.
He literally had to take one step, i'm not sure pace was a factor in that goal

If it was Vlahovic , he would have reached the ball first :cautious:

It’s not down to the tannoy guy though, generally unless it’s a clear OG they’ll award it to one of our players.

UEFA make the final call.
I thought the tannoy guy’s word was law lol ?

They didn’t flash Kane up on posh tv like did with Son and Moura though.

The 10 mins or so where everything clicked were very impressive. Either side of that it's been pretty chaotic.

Think blaming individuals (and funnily enough, it only seems to be the ones people hope have no future here...) is a bit harsh. All have had a few moments, apart from Son really who looks to have "got it" straight away. In general most of the problems I've seen so far are coming about from getting to grips with the system.

I think some of you are being way too harsh and just looking for the negatives. Dier was impeded for that first goal and don’t get the run on the attacker because of it. Dumb from Lucas for the second but his movement has been excellent at the other end of the field.

Davies is obviously the scapegoat but I think he’s been absolutely fine. This is a new formation that they’ve not worked on, it’s not going to be perfect as you can see from the misplaced passes and positioning. But they are looking positive and that’s a world of improvement from what we’ve seen.

Enjoy it, we’re playing with intensity. We’re playing well (for the most part).

Rodon must be pretty meh , 4 managers can't be wrong. Just a cheap ass purchase when it should've been skriniar. These cheap deals always come back ending up costing more lately. Only worked out under poch buying cheap but then he also had to deal with a ton of N'players, stambolui etc
Rodon needs a run of games. Has he ever played more than 2 consecutive games since he signed?

Tactically it’ll take time to get them where he wants, I can live with that, but the increase in effort is clear to see, and that’s the first step.
Dier looked flat footed for the opening Vitesse goal, allowed the player to get the run on him. Second was all about trying to be too clever in the wrong area of the pitch.
I think the fullbacks have shown ambition. Skipp has been all action. Davies has been OK I thought, he’s worked his way forward a few times, underlapping.
We just look a little clumsy and frantic at times on the ball, too many heavy touches etc giving up the ball, maybe timing not there at this tempo. That’ll come.

he hasn’t scored?…:: was an OG? …. And I mean just his intensity
ive been watching him closely and he just seems to be struggling for me, almost top heavy and sluggish, has tried to get involved and played that lovely ball round the corner for moura but not sure if hes carrying a knock but its almost like it first game back after injury and hes trying to catch up to the speed of the game

They have it to him on tannoy at game unless it’s been changed?

I thought it was an OG tbh but was given to Kane.

His assist was quite sexy as well, no doubt with that! :)
Kane got first touch and the player just carried it in but had he not been there Kane's touch was going in even though it only went inches before the defender got in on the act.

This!

Overall very chaotic, that was to be expected though. Definitely seen some real positives though.
