I think Walker as Captain might be good move. Reckon he's stepped up his maturity this year and always gives %100. Might be that the extra responsibility accelerates the improvement he's shown this year.

I think we've just gone for square peg square hole. A right winger on the right, a left winger on the left. With the players available I can't see much of a different formation. I think the reason why Soldado hasn't started could be because he's so used to playing up front on his own, Sherwood might think that Defoe and Ade might be a better choice seeing as they've played that formation.

I just want to see attacking football and players that show they want to play for the club, fans but more importantly for themselves

Bobby and others i think like @EyeTieNick said are probably resting matey. Ade needed to play i am actually for some reason really chuffed he is playing!! Don't know why i have a feeling probably just means he will a sitter again

time for the pre-game smoke..let's do this boys!

as long as our defense keeps it relatively tight, we should be able to toss some goals in.

Coys! get'r done!

Someone mentioned his brother posted on twitter he was injured/not playing tonight. Or maybe I made that up.
He's just said that he's probably playing sunday. "Couldn't" say why he isn't playing tonight.

Good point. Alf Ramsey's 4-4-2 teams were nicknamed 'wingless wonders' because when he played a winger (just the one), he played them in a 4-4-3. But that was a long time ago, and yes, tactics evolve. It always puzzles me that the lkes of 442, 443 etc don't give you a clue about how the teams play in possession or out of possession, and imply some sort of symmetricality - basically they don't really say much at all.

I think you mean 433?

Well, regardless of who is on the pitch and who is managing us right now it's still my beloved Spurs.

COYS!!!

All over this. Space on the pitch for us to exploit. Sick and tired of seeing suffocated performances at home. The merits of other games may require something else but I think this is a time to let the players have a bit of fun and try to get to a semi final!

This was the sort of rotation I'd actually expect to see from a manager looking to rotate and keep the team fresh for the PL, it's just disconcerting to see it from a new guy. If we see something similar on Sunday, I'll panic a little, but for now, COYS

Sorry if this has already been asked, but does anyone have an idea where Lamela is at?
