The shot into the corner with his left foot was very Harry Kane. The way he hit it just reminded me of the exact way Kane does with his head heavily over the ball and struck hard into the corner!

I can imagine that Parrott would have spent a lot of time watching what Kane does and trying to replicate it.

Yes, my point is if we don’t sign a striker & Troy undoubtedly will do well, we will look foolish for letting him go out on loan rather then having a cover for Kane

He needs to play regularly at a level which will challenge him without the Premier League pressure. Just like Kane he'll be better off with this experience

But with Parrot and Skipp we're playing the medium and long term game, their development in a team where they will get 30+ starts in this season will be more beneficial to us in the long term than them getting 5 or 10 minute cameos off our bench every once in a while.

No matter how many goals he scores for Millwall we shouldn't go into meltdown, although of course some idiots will.

I agree this loan is perfect for him & I can’t wait to see him thrive, I just hope we aren’t left with just Kane again as a striker this season

Both loans are perfect for them & will benefit us in the long run when they return to us, the only way I can see a meltdown happening in Troy’s case is if Kane gets burnout / injured & we have no other recognised striker at the club.

Loaning Troy was the right thing to do providing we sign another striker, I’m just not confident atm that we are actually going to sign one

one of my pals is a season ticket holder at the new den, he's buzzing about Troy being there, really thinks he could be a massive hit & propel them to the play offs at least, I hope he's right

Think he’ll get plenty of game time. His biggest challenge seems to be to stay fit for the season. If he does, his clear talent will make him a star.

This interview is mostly about the game, but if you do not want to watch all of the clip then go to 3.23 and he talks a little bit about Parrott.

I'm guessing there's no videos of the game/his goal. I couldn't find any anyway

Only played 30 mins? Hope he's not injured! Though it does say the entire team was changed with around 10 mins to go.

A goal and one off the post in that time, hopefully he keeps getting more time on the pitch.
