Bodø/Glimt currently losing to Ajax in the final minutes of extra time after a mad game with a red card for each team and a mad cross/shot likely winner for Ajax.

Really don't feel Ajax deserve to go through here but it is so typical for Norwegian sides in Europe to play well but lack cutting edge to finish off games. Glimt should've won this but Ajax have capitalised on the mistakes Glimt have made.
The ref was shit. Still can't understand how he thought that was a foul on the keeper and not a clear penalty and red card.
Less touch than Harrison on Vicario.

Over the two matches Bodø/glimt deserved to go through.

Gyokeres is such a good finisher. The goal he just scored was so Kane like.
Surprised a PL team didn’t snap him up from Cov. Around 20m I think it was.
No doubt someone will go and pay 35m in the summer. They won’t take a chance on Champ players ,

Similar situation to when Gylfi was at Reading.

Two very important RO16 ties for coefficient reasons in Roma v Brighton and Freiburg v West Ham. I know it's West Ham but we should want both English sides to win.

West Ham beat Freiburg twice in the group stage.
Hard game for brighton. Roma are not great but have improved since Mourinho went. Struggled to get past Feyenoord on pens.

Somehow the EL looks much tougher than the CL.

I agree in that WH winning would be good as they aren't winning it with Liverpool, Benfica, Milan and Leverkusen in it.

Freiberg will be tough though

Except for Brighton, all the English teams should be confident of progressing.

You have to think we'll have a pretty good idea where things will end after the R16.

Leverkusen losing currently which is good for us.

Be nice if Brighton could get a goal but they really have turned into utter crap these past few months..

If all other teams get through and we lose just Brighton, it's still ok I guess. Would be better to take Roma out, but maybe asking to much.

I think if Roma win that tie then that all but seals Italy's fifth spot and it'll be between England and Germany for second.

Italy have Fiorentina in ECL, Milan and Roma in EL, Inter and maybe Napoli going through in the CL. It'll take a lot for them to drop to third then.

2-0 to Roma and 2-0 to Qarabag over Leverkusen.

I understand if Leverkusen are rather throwing this for the league but that's still a shock.

Also 3-0 to Liverpool but they were always going to walk over Sparta Prague

If Leverkusen somehow go out that would basically seal England 2nd
