Such a shame it’s ending like this with Danny Rose, proper Spurs and always gave 100%.

If he had any self awareness he'll regret ever doing that interview in 2017.
He was injured at the time and it had been about 6 months since we'd last seen him on the pitch, which means it's now over 3 years ago since he was at the peak of his powers. He's lost an absolute ton of credibility as a player because he's not got close to those levels since and even a loan spell at Newcastle proved fruitless.
He needed to understand that his stock dramatically dropped. He'll probably blame Jose or the club in some way but at the end of the day if he hadn't have spoken out against the club publically when it was completely unnecessary to do so, he would have kept his credibility at the club and maybe wouldn't have been cast aside.
I wouldn't be surprised if Jose already had his mind made up about Rose before he even came to the club, you don't want a player around who can potentially run to the papers the minute you upset him......which Danny took hook, line and sinker.
As a player and professional on the pitch I really liked him and think he was one of the best we had at his best, he's also been with the club for sooo long which should be admired but he's left a massive stain on it by not being able to know when to speak out and how to do it.
Milan aren't a rival.I don't really see the benefit. If you want to be paid your full contract, stick around for it. If you value your career over money, make a compromise.
I don't see why we'd pay him for a full season where he could join a rival team.
He has a contract, he's perfectly entititled to be paid in full for it.
Can't put him on gardening leave. Doesn't work that way. It’s what happens with managers. Pay them off and they can’t join another club or they have to pay something back.
I say put him on gardening leave. That way he doesn’t use our facilities and can train in his back garden or find a friendly club who will allow him to train. That may open up some doors.
If he sticks with this attitude he won't play any football until July/August 21.
If thats what he wants fair enough.

He has said a couple of times that he cannot wait to retire. He doesn't seem bothered about playing football at all.
