I just posted in the match thread but to confirm the above the atmosphere was superb! I was in the south stand so in the middle of it but it was loud. Very loud! Best I can remember in a long time!

Would be interesting to know if the south stand is a wall of noise as we hoped. Anyone sitting anywhere else?

its almost embarrassing that Son doesn't get a song after scoring in such a big match.

I think he heard us chanting "Nice one Sonny! Nice one Son! Nice one Sonny let's 'ave another one!!!" at the top of our voices after he scored. Well, after the VAR confirmed he scored anyway :)

I can’t speak for last night, but I was in the North Stand for the first test event and even half full, the South Stand’s singing really felt like a wall of noise.

Even in the East Stand for the Palace game, where it was quieter than last night, when they get going it’s amazing.

it was barely audible. In contrast Dele gets raucous noise every time he does something positive. Unfair!

Can anybody pass comment on how the south stand sounds from other areas? As said above it was deafening around me.

I've just remembered about this one that I sang at home with my son for a while.

Last year my son and I made up our own version of the Lego Movie song..."Harry Kane is awesome, Harry Kane is cool and he plays for our team. Harry Kane is awe-some, he keeps scoring for our team!". I loved singing that with him.

I was lucky enough to be a guest in the H Club last night. Sat with Ossie Ardiles for a pre match meal. Met Ledley, Hoddle, Ray Clemance, Mabbsy. Was a night I'll never forget. The atmosphere was on a completly different level from the Palace game. I got the posh lot in the west stand singing with the rest of you. I can confirm our white wall was deafening at times. We shut Debryne up that's for sure. COYS

The crowd last night were as immense as the team was. Exceptional performance, they pushed the team on when they needed it and never stopped singing. It was wonderful. I'm really very proud of everyone who attended and sang their heart out.

No matter what happens in the tie, last night I believe we made the new WHL a proper home already. And that's crucial.

It's a little hard to say: best moments for me were when basically the whole ground was singing. At those times, from the North-East corner, and with those singing around me, it was difficult to pick out how loud the South was.

For me that's a positive as it shows we are no longer reliant on one corner of the ground to generate atmosphere.

Would be interesting to know what it was like from the players' perspective.

100000% agree. I tried to get it going where I was in block 521 but nobody joined in. Think they may have been in shock that we were 1-0 up.

The atmosphere last night was electric, best I’ve heard since we beat Milan at the old whl. Will be interesting to see it on Saturday against Huddersfield during a lunch time KO

Do some thing with this.

Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right
Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right
Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun,…

Nice! There's also the chorus to Who Loves the Sun by The Velvet Underground which could be adapted for Son, maybe. He definitely needs a song!

If only we had a player we could adapt that song too :cautious:

always loved this puma advert...kind of makes sense for the new stadium (new beginning)

Any wordsmiths out there to put some relevant Spurs lyrics to that tune? The Wall singing that at full volume would be amazing???

I'm gonna pitch my Lucas song again. To "Ruby" by the Kaiser Chiefs...

Lucas, Llucas, Lucas Moura
He's from Brazil and he's our scorer
Like Harry Kane but only shorter
Lucas, Llucas, Lucas Moura
I've been expecting the Lewis Holtby song for Moura.
