100% record after three games is a great foundation for us to build from. I still think there’s a lot of work to do as far as this team is concerned though, especially on today’s showing.

This start is defo a bit of a mirage. My eyes are telling me we will come unstuck pretty soon against a decent side.

Still, now would be the time for Levy and Paratici to go for it, make a couple of big signings that will improve the first XI. Won’t happen, though, cos Levy never does.

while i’m happy we’re top, 100% win rate and 3 clean sheets, the performances don’t really match the results. it feels like we could’ve drawn or even lost any of the games, and in that way it all feels slightly similar to mourinho early days. hopefully the new blood work into the team and the performances pick up in terms of feeling like deserved wins, etc.

still 9 points clear of arsenal mind :)

Note: 100% record and no league goals conceded so far, with Dier and Sanchez at the back, with essentially a rookie at RB. Nuno's a wizard.

Romero should surely make things even better if he comes in soon.

Yeah a good base to build from. Last year we’d have probably lost or drawn these last two games, if we can continue to hold onto the leads we take I’m confident we will do well. Feel like we still need someone who‘s going to take games by the scruff of the neck and drag the rest of the team over the line.

Yeah, it feel like it's nearly close to the start of 18/19, when we were getting results without necessarily taking them by force.

I think right now we're at that fantastic sweet spot of getting results and yet expectations are still low. I think that's such a great place to be as a spurs fan.

I think Nuno has early on set some really solid foundations but to me, I think it's clear that despite those foundations we are lacking the quality that the top4 have. Through no fault of the manager, he's getting a greater result from the sum of the teams parts.

Let's see what happens come deadline day, still hopeful for Levy, Hitchen and Paratici to deliver something great for Nuno, certainly he's showing why he deserves to be backed but I'm not sure it'll change my expectations of finishing 5th/6th such is the quality of our rivals but Nuno is doing what he can should any of them slip up.

I think there's so much room for improvement but I'm so happy with what I've seen so far.

Imagine if we went a whole season George-Graham-ing every scoreline 1-0, and won the league invincible with 100% win ratio...but only 38 goals scored

Of course we won't get near there, but sounds ridiculous to imagine

If we win the next 30 games, we'd be champs. No need to worry the last 5.

I wonder if that's ever happened anywhere in the world?

My romantic football heart says we can do ‘a Leicester’and keep winning while everyone waits for us to implode. My Spurs fan cynical head tells me we can’t keep it up and we’ll implode soon. Brilliant start, brilliant platform to build on, and loads of room for improvement. Come On You Spurs!

We’re fighting for 5-7th with Leicester, West Ham and possibly Everton and Villa, putting pressure from 8/9th.

After todays performance my position and prediction has not changed - title winners. It is in our hands.

I'm not sure how to perfectly articulate this but i'd be interested to know the statistic between getting 1-0 wins and being succesful.

I think there's something there in terms of being able to grind out a single goal win and how that relates to a succesful season.

I don't think we could win it if the league was us and one other team, but in fairness it's a good start and we are working much harder than last season which is a good sign.
I still think we need a couple of more additions but I don't see any more incoming now, so will have to make the best of what we have I feel

No. Never does. Never has.

Never.

Ever.
