4 West Ham 16 +9 28
5 Man Utd 16 +2 27
6 Arsenal 16 -1 26
7 Tottenham 14 -1 25

If we won our two games in hand we would be three points clear in fourth place. That is barmy after the season we have had!
Yeah and 5 points behind Chelsea. Mad

We have to finish in a Europa League place at the least, if that comes via a near miss in the league and a cup win to boost morale then I'll take that

Im still gunning for the league. Still plenty of twists and turns and why not. We may not win it but aim high and all that

As a club the Europa League would be good but I doubt Conte would have any interest in being in it.

As of now, I still see us as 6th /7th at best . I am struggling to see us finishing above Man Utd whatever really but, to have a chance , I believe we need 1- to get out of ECL, 2- Make 3 successful signings in January ( Second striker, 2 midfielders( 1 creative) or 2 of Tanguy, Dele , Gio , and Winks need to discover/remember how to play consistently premier league level football. Without the signings(realistically, as I don't see the aforementioned players changing much), I still see several teams either better equipped or just as likely to finish above than below us.

He took Inter to the EL final only 18 months ago
Ha must admit I totally forgot that! Without meaning to sound like I'm totally changing my point now (I sort of am), I doubt we'll have the squad to fire on both fronts. I'd still rather be in it personally and it's important to be able to give fringe players some playing time .

Vlahovic, Phillips and De Vrij will change that

Worryingly arsenal looked very very good last night. Completely dominated West Ham. They could be a real problem and are now 4th

Under Conte in PL : Unbeaten

Played 5
Won 3
Draw 2
Lost 0
Points 11

2.2 points per game....

If Kane can start scoring, we will move up another gear. If Kane from here, scores as his usual self, I see no reason for being in top4 comfortably by end of season.

Win our games in hand and we're above the bastards.

Also, our next 3 games are Palace, Southampton, Watford.

Their next 3 games are Norwich, Wolves, City.

And then we play each other.

Win our games in hand, they lose to City, we beat them... 9 points above them.

Sounds easy doesn't it!

Can we ensure this happens please? Thanks.

I’m a wildly optimistic person in general life…however I think that we should be targeting 3rd AND 4th spot. Chelsea seem to be fluttering at the moment and we’ve seen before how quickly things can change. Interesting times ahead with Conte at the helm.

With the performances under Conte and the conference league news. I would be disappointed if we don't make top 4.

Get the right business done in January and we will do it comfortably IMO.

Top 4 if we get another goalscorer, either at striker or RW or nr. 10 position. Otherwise 5th or 6th with chance to win FA or League Cup.

Given that he's gone out of the Conference League due to that selection at Mura, the expectation now has to be 4th. I believe we can do it. COYS

Conte will definitely be aiming as high as we can get, whatever that might be.

I actually feel bad for Chelsea after the weekend, which is not something I say flippantly - it's unacceptable that they were made to play when they couldn't even fill a bench IMO - but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be seeking to capitalise.
