I was stoked with his signing from Auxerre. Was very tidy CM. Bit of everything and he really could have gone on a level but was made of glass. Scored some lovely goals though, good technique.

Look at the score, Didier? :D

great moment

The back injury seems to have had a huge impact on his career. I know he had a big operation on it.

I remember a number of people being in uproar when we sold O'Hara. I think the Spurs tinted glasses were on for a lot of people. Hes ok but nothing special.

Know from a source with Wolves that apparently his attitude dramatically changed when his loan move went permanent. Him and Roger Johnson were said to really disrupt the dressing room.

I have a soft spot for our Youth players that made it to our first team... the likes of O'Hara, Etherington, Button etc...

u really want to see them do well and make a name for themselves.

btw.... what happen with David Button, he was one of the brightest goalkeeping talents in england.

I never really rated O´Hara. Worked hard and covered several different positions but never really had the ability to make much of a career for himself.

He could hit a hard shot from 20 yards straight at the goalkeeper which got polite applause and made some opposing fans believe he was a good player.

Couldn´t believe anyone paid over 7m for him.

This thread got me wondering - Mounir El Hamdaoui - he was predicted to be mustard, then vanished after a season on loan at Derby. Now plying his trade at the age of 29 with Fiorentina in Serie A.

Biggest mistake was pledging his allegiance to Pompey during our Cup semi with them when he was there on loan.

Second biggest mistake was Danielle Lloyd. He thought he was shit hot, top of the footballer/wag ladder. Just without the talent.

All downhill from there.

Just come up on breaking news that Arsenal have bid £35m for him, as they weren't able to secure any of their 40 transfer targets
