I’m more concerned that someone allows the game to get to them and we get a sending off. Cuti would be the fave so far. Need to keep our heads and 11 on the pitch

I never let Woolwich fans wind me up.
A cursory glance of Arsemania posts, kindly supplied on here reveals a fan base mainly consisting of 26 year old virgins living in their mums attic rooms, dressed in semen stained Sports Direct joggers and existing on a diet of toasted cheese sandwiches and Kit Kats.
Nothing wrong with cheese toasties..

I'd say there's a good chance. Emerson last year, Lamela the year before. Also Verts and Adebayor before that.

All that lot from Arse mania who expected a 5-0 hammering by half time will be cry wanking right now.

Can’t wait for the ‘we had no Rice second half’ excuses when we’ve been without our best midfielder for 8 months…

Always a shame when we drop points against the poorer sides, but we know the small clubs often raise their game against Tottenham.

We deserved all three but take great heart from another very promising performance.

We’re the real deal and were only just starting.

There is a lot of that, with Arsenal apparently playing their 'C' team by the end, but, for some balance, there's this from, err, Olivier Giroud, which puts the result into some context, I think.

Surprised Arsenal look pretty light after a few first team injuries. It's going to be tough with the level of CL games in the week, need a really strong squad. I actually think we have a little bit more depth in midfield and attack than them. Their first team is excellent though no doubt but the best squads usually win the titles.

Arsenal Mania
  • The most pathetic derby I’ve ever seen.
    Scared of Tottenham.
  • Btw, I told you big Ange was going to be a problem. If he's given a budget like Arteta then they'll overtake us.
  • ****e result. Should have smashed them 4-1 actually. Fuming
  • Poor performance on the balance of play. This is NOT the performance of a title challenger.
But credit to Sp**s as well, they put in a good performance. (SA Gunner)
  • Fecking embarrassing conceding that goal after the pen. Fuming. Jorginho you useless pasta cooker.
  • It's the deserved result overall.
They are a good team now, even if you don't want to accept it. We should be thankful that Romero gifted us both goals
  • feel like Sp**s should have won this game with the momentum swing in the second
  • Sp**s will finish above us this Season.... No doubt about that. Angie did not need Half a Decade of Process,, More than half a billion spending to totally school Arteta
  • they are quite a good team when they get up to speed
  • This result feels like a defeat.
  • Pathetic result
  • Still pissed off conceding after making it 2-1 with pen for **** sakes
  • This feels like a loss
  • Sp**s should've lost 3-0 not 2-2.
  • Sp**s are a better side than many people gave them credit for going into this
  • They will be a lot of Tottenham hype after that
  • An average Tottenham team matched us with a fraction of the talent and at a fraction of the cost
  • Unreal how the overrating about this manager is. But majority on this forum said same about Mourinho and Conte coaching them. This new manager will be found out soon enough.
  • Big Ange would have been 4 down if Arsenal stop being c***s. Lets see they do this against Liverpool and man city even Brighton they'll be only 1 down
  • If Romero hadn't played, do we even get a point though?
  • To be fair, they were found out in the first half but Jesus missed a sitter and then the ball wasn't cleared. We should have had 4 or 5 and we conceded 2 stupid goals. They're nothing special. Liverpool and City will annihilate them.
  • Sp**s cut us apart with combination play on so many more occasions
  • Sp**s looking like a good team tbh. Very impressed by their ability to break the press and play one touch.
I feel deflated after that. A game you look forward to all week and we put in a performance like that.
  • Yes, credit to them. They stuck to their guns and got some joy moving the ball forward when they could.
They will do well this season, if they can stay fit. I think a top 4/5 finish on the cards yes. (SA Gunner)
