It’s just such a stupid take “take X player out and they would be rubbish”.

Well yeah, that’s the point of football. Take Salah out of Liverpool and they are significantly worse off, take Haaland out of City, Saka out of Arsenal etc etc etc.

Literally the point of football is to have good footballers that can change games.

It’s nice we have the whole of the United fan base backing us as well. This shows how much they hate the other teams fan bases, especially arsenal and pool.

We haven’t played anyone yet. Brings to mind Harry Kane and he is a one season wonder - that certainly bit back 🤣
COYS

Dollars to donuts after we have played nineteen games some people will still be saying this and not understanding why it's funny

I always have this feeling that if comes Christmas and we are still in top 3, many of the other bottom clubs' fans and media may for once be backing us to win it. I mean, who can possibly hate Big Ange and Sonny? We will win them over and the media will be especially important for a narrative to be written that can give us an advantage like when Leicester won it that season.

Having read the views of other fans I honestly get it. I get their frustration. I mean the facts speak for themselves:

Since going top we've only had to play teams below us in the table, and if we keep beating teams belows us we'll never be properly tested. A bit unfair really.

II might start a petition.

There’s a fair few that dislike Son. Think it’s primarily the pre-planned goal celebrations with Maddison, Dele et al.

This basically means United players will take their foot off the pedal when playing us. Even though they ain’t very good, but it also means they will up their game to help us to the title when they play against pool and arsenal, so as they say every little helps.

I like this thinking and then I remember last season when we beat city when Arsenal needed a result

"You're good only because Son and Madders are good" is the most braindead thing I've ever seen. Any team is only good as their players are good. Are we forbidden to have good players? Also, we had this narrative for a good 2 or 3 years recently with Kane. Now he's gone, turns out Sonny was the "problem"?!

conversely, Everton are only shit because all their players and their manager are shit. if they weren't quite so shit, Everton might not be quite so shit.
