Other sport events, might strengthen our bid for the World cup or the Euros.
The bids aren't hampered by lack of stadia. You'd be better off saving the cost of the build and bribing a few people instead.

Neutral grounds other than Wembley. Millennium Stadium would be awesome.

Stade de France, we could make a weekend of it.
Plus April in Paris! I love Ella Fitzgerald.
Actually A&C has nailed it, this is exactly the kind of game Wembley would have been chosen for.

I'm sure the people of Paris would welcome Chelsea fans back in a heartbeat

I've got a couple of ideas, we have the semi final at the Emirates but we also use the 02 arena. At the 02 arena people can watch it on the big screen, there could be a festival and other things going on for children.

Second idea is for the goverment to build a couple more Stadiums, one up north and one in the south so that there would be no need to use wembley for semi finals.

Both those ideas are very 'strange' to be polite. Also, you do realise we are soon going to have sod all money as a country so £2bn on a couple of stadiums just for internationals / FA cup semis is absolutely mental!? We're not Qatar..

Apparently we are going to have plenty of money when we leave the EU...

That's fucking depressing. We held the record when we last won it. They've equalled that in 25 years... :(

How come Dougal's quoting a Spurger King comment with my name on the top?? Anyone care to enlighten me?/

London has enough high capacity stadiums to host its own world cup, the rest of the country also could host a world cup without london.

We have Liverpool, Man City and Man Utd all about to have stadiums at least 60k stadiums whilst the North East has some big stadiums in Newcastle and Sunderland

We dont need bigger football stadiums

High enough capacity to host a world cup but no stadium other than wembley to host a semi final, between two of London's biggest clubs, something isn't right.

Wrong, Stamford Bridge, New WHL and Emirates could easily host a semi final

The Russia World cup has only 2 stadiums out of 12 that have a capacity of more than 48k

Also you have other stadiums like Twickenham and the olympic stadium

Then you also have the practice of temporary stands that are often used during world cups, which increase capacities of certain stadiums, which is what Brazil did and what we did with the olympics

Why aren't we doing it then? Wembley should be just reserved for the final, that's what used to make it so special.
