Wouldn't mind him at spurs at all. Young attacking player that can play all over the midfield. An AVB type signing and if we don't get Hulk (which we won't at all) he would be the alternative. I think we would be looking at about £20 million for him.

Just don't know what's the problem this window. Anyone who can lace his boots is 20 million. I would have thought with the state of the European economy, attendances and merchandise sales will be down; and likewise transfer fees.

You can thank Liverpool, Man city and Chelsea for that. I'd give the dumb ass overinflated transfer award to Liverpool for the 35 million they spent on Andy Carroll.

I thought that Silva, Mata and Aguero would be too frail for Premier League.
at the time they were coming, I would've agreed with mata. But, I was dreaming we would sign Silva and had no such thoughts of frailty regarding aguero. being short does not equate to frail,... none of those players are brazilian of course.

I've seen willian play,... he looks frail to me.

brazilians overall seem to struggle in england - most of them that is - Sandro is not a pussy...

That has been discussed before, not many good Brazilians have come to England.

Can't help but think that he's another Gervinho, lots of tricks and pace and little end product. I hope I'm wrong and if we do sign him, I hope it's not for an astronomical figure, because I think that could come back to bite us in the bum....

I don't know, any Brazilian who can go over to the Ukraine at 18 and deal with all the differences in culture and racism over there must be a pretty strong character...

I've only seen him in the Champions League but he is unpredictable and that is something we desperately need.

Bale and Lennon can be great at times but they are very predictable on and off the ball.

Fair point; Bale, Lennon and Siggy are all very functional so maybe that sort of fancy Dan would be useful. But don't forget GDS.
