Brozovic is a must. Playing well again. He can sign a pre contact in Jan. Conte knows him. He knows Conte and his system.

Key signing

He is a more mobile version of hojberg. Reportedly on 100k a week which I'm sure the club could nearly double on a 3 year deal. If he won't sign inter contract surely they would accept 15m for him in Jan
I’m not really sure of the big love fest about him tbh. Modric would be a yes. But I personally wouldn’t think signing this guy on 200k a year with you resale is good business financially or from a squad perspective. My opinion of course.

He plays in a key position that plays how conte wants a CM to play. Just turned 29 so we will have 3 peak years from him

I think its an essential signing

Interesting goings on at Juve. Wonder if this could effect Juves transfer dealings going forward and be curious to know if Fab was involved with any of this. Honestly wouldn’t be surprised if there is truth to this.

Agnelli, Nedved & Paratici are all involved

Sessegnon is one bit of business that irks me. £25-30m + Onomah. Not a specialist LB/LWB nor LW. Sometimes even played on the RW on account of a bunch on tap-ins at Fulham. It was hype. You can’t have a LWB who might come good in that position for £25m.

The crazy thing is we apparently almost signed his brother for the other wing back role as part of the deal!

Doherty is the worst player I’ve ever seen AND the biggest surprise.

So I’d like to see us upgrade the secondary wing back roles in the summer. Or move Japhet to Doherty’s place and buy another CB.
surely the Doc Ginger Pele has to be in contention for that spot !

Am I right in thinking Conte was trying to get Brozovic out the door to accommodate Ndombele? I'm sure those were the rumours from last year.

Could be why we aren't wanting him, as per DiMarzios info

I recall someone on here saying we were watching Raspadori..21 year old plays for Sassuolo. He’s a second striker, Tevez is a comparison I’ve seen. Curious if we see any of those links come up in the media.

What type of player is he?
Here's a quote I have found, the title of the article is very erection inducing.

“He is a midfielder, who can play as an 8 or a 10, who can bring creativity with the quality of his passing and his understanding of play, things that we don’t necessarily have today,” Rennes sporting director Florian Maurice explained as Majer was unveiled by the Ligue 1 side.

“He is capable of being consistent with his efforts. He runs an enormous amount. He is beginning to push for the national team and he has regularly played Champions’ League and Europa League with Dinam

“He has a very intriguing level of technical quality. A left-footer, he is going to do us some good from set-pieces”

“He has the ability to keep the ball under pressure, to trigger assists,” head coach Bruno Genesio told Ouest France.

“His volume of play is exceptional. When you’re an attacker with a player like that behind you, it’s very pleasant.”

Speaking of Croatian midfielders, I see that Modric's contract is up in the summer.

36 years old, but still playing regularly for Real.

Has there been any speculation as to where he'll go next?

There will be incomings in Jan ??

Thanks. I’d say outgoings are equally and in some cases more important than incomings. We need to cut the rot out the club before it can properly grow.

From Conte’s words in the press I actually think he’s happy with the application of what he’s seen from the group, it’s just the quality which is lacking.

I think, like Hugo, he'll retire.
Hugo is 34 , very different for GK's , why would he retire??? He still has another 2/3 yrs in him for sure, comparing Modric to Hugo is witless ... Modric is a Don i Love the dude even now, but he is 36 yd old outfield player and at 36 it makes sense for him to maybe retire, but for a world class GK at 34 he still has another couple of yrs at the top left in him, i have no doubt.

Friedel was like 41 knocking around the league. Lloris could still get another contract at another top club, probably his last though
