There was a moment when we had easy forward passes on to start a break but Royal and I think Sarr or Bissouma just passed it between themselves four or five times without ever getting their heads up. Really symbolic ten seconds of play symbolising what invited the pressure onto us.

I'd bring Bissouma off for Bentacur. Bissouma not having a good game and on a yellow, Bentacur has that ability to pick a forward pass and can beat the press.

Not sure he’s a big loss on this form. He’s been shite since the Luton sending off.

He's back to being lazy. He's not making himself available for his team mates and is not running out of tight spaces with the ball like he did in the beginning of the season.

He's an amazing player and one the best in the league. But that doesn’t mean he can't be dropped.

Agree. Slightly annoyed by the pattern if refs letting loads of low level fouls accumulate without taking action, but more annoyed by our ability to fall into the trap and overheat.

First time this season where I am having slight Conte era flash backs.

I think it is more to do with a few of the personnel. We know their limitations and they aren't as suited to play in the way in which Ange wants to play.

It’s understandable due to all the changes but I thought that was a really tough watch since the goal. Sarr is completely wasted on the left. Royal looks knackered, Bissouma below par again. Barely any attacking play and no creativity. Great goal but I still want more from Johnson, I know he’s new to the left but I want to see him go at defenders so they shit themselves every time he gets the ball. As it stands, he’s happy playing it backwards or sideways as soon as he gets the ball (bar the rare pass forward). The defence is doing well considering but you
always feel it can come undone at any time.

We need to do something with the ball when we get it. Lots of nervous safe passes, which is kind of understandable with all the changes but we should be trying to recreate the first 2 mins all the time.

Bentancur needs to come on and be Bentancur.

Not quite fluid as expected due to 3 of the back 4 missing and Hojbjerg instead of Maddison.

They have barely played this system together those 4 in these positions. So it's understandable it's not up to speed.

He is getting better defensively in terms of positioning and is our best attacking full back. Can't disagree with you on that.

Agree didn't think it was but it seems for what ever reason this season ref have a judgment bout certain players.

By replacing Maddison with Hojbjerg we’ve lost a huge amount of pace in midfield on top of the drop off in technical ability. Bissouma, Sarr and Hojbjerg as a trio just won’t work. GLC or Bentancur need to be on the pitch.

Can see I’m alone in this but didn’t think the ref had a particularly poor half. Wolves fouls have mostly been just that, whereas the late lunge from Emerson is a yellow all day and Bis was late.
