Wolves are a big, physical side. They've got a lot of dribblers in the side and win most of their 1v1's. Our lot were weaker and the ref let them get away with things that next week a different ref will penalise.

But lets face it, we had players out there today who won't be in Ange's long term plans and only got minutes because we are up shit street with injuries. You take the spine out of the team and our passing game drops off far too much.

Chelsea have cost us 6 points this week. Probably more to come. Udogie and Bentancur will both be in against Villa. But we’re quite battered right now.

Yeah
This is Conte's Spurs rearing it's head again. This isn't Ange's. Look at the team on the pitch there. Some of those were reserve's under Jose and Conte. Completely different side.

Ange is going to be busy in January.
Yeah similar traits crept back in.

Backing off and dropping deeper.
Passing the ball out as soon as a little pressure was applied.
Players struggling to keep the ball.
Defensive lapses.
Rushing passes

All there.

I honestly think Philipps should play.

Dier and Davies were ok.

But ultimately they have moments and then get worse.

Wolves realised they could press them and force them into turnovers.

Phillips will be an unknown. Opposition wont know how he deals with that and if he succeeds early on it'll cause them to panic.

Still, no team should lose from that situation.

That passing at the end was baffling

Very sloppy. We lost it in midfield today

Got to regroup and be better in possession and more decisive in attack. In whole wolves deserved it

I do not disagree. But Dier/Davies’ passing are so much weaker compared to Romero/VDV, which makes playing out from the back so much harder. Especially in combination with Maddison being out as well, who always provides an extra press-resistant outlet.

Conte was right - Ange’s success has been about marginalising the guys who were selfish and playing for themselves. As soon as they’re back in the team it’s the same fragile shit

1 each, 1 minute to go. A free kick on the halfway line. Every other CB in the league puts it in the box. Not our resident cart horse Dier. He cost both goals with his inept passing. He is woeful. Both times he should have hit it long.

Like watching a Conte side today. PEH, Royal, Davies, Dier are not quick enough or technically good enough to play this way. Too passive, don't move the ball quick enough, just stumbling into challenges. If Ange thinks he can play this way with those players he's a moron.
If this is true, I've not seen it, then we take an enormous amount from that in that any doubt has been removed.
That said I see we took Bisouma off for Lo Celso which Conte wouldn't have done he'd have just bolstered the defence.

Disagree. There not a lot he can do with the players out. When are these dogshit players going to get the blame?? Dier, Davies and PEH are shit and all deserve to be playing in the Championship. Watch how far off Dier stands on numerous occasions during the match. PEH passing the ball was a joke an absolute joke.
Ange to blame for playing them over taking proactive risks.

Injurys happen, but with a squad as thin as ours Im convinced Romero's and Udogie's red cards cost us not only the points Vs Chelsea, but another 3 today.

Free kick on half way with 10 seconds left and the tide against you . You take the point and get out.

Well Phillips should have played this game to see. Villa are much better attacking team
