Not particularly surprised. The usual suspects have the same old brain farts in their locker and not sure anyone should be expecting any different. So called 'Senior/leader' types.....what a load of bollocks. Truth be told, just need to just suck it up now as our squad, especially in certain areas, is far too weak to cope with injuries and suspensions. January can't come quick enough. Travesty that we are still relying on Dier as a CB.....remember reading a post from someone here who was adamant Dier would be starting the season ahead of Romero and VDV...what a joke lol

We’ve cost ourselves
There’s a bit of that, but there’s been plenty more bad luck on top. The first team was decimated. It’s not the result, or the late goals. The whole performance was very unlike anything we’ve seen under Big Ange. Hard to get a tune out of a team patched up like we were. Need the international break to get our ducks in order.

Oh and @THOWIG PEH was the worst of the bunch.
PEH and Dier have got to go. PEH has zero composure under pressure and Dier consistently gave the ball away hoofing it out of play down the right channel until they eventually equalised from it.

Got to be Sarr, Bentancur and Lo Celso for me until Biss and Maddison are back. Our defence cost us that game

Lo Celso cameo showed how wrong Ange was with that unnecessary change in Sarr's position to fit in PEH.

For 90 minutes we lead, the mood here is that Dier and Davies are good.

6 minutes later, the mood changes to Dier and Davies are useless.

Spurs fans.
We were hanging on for dear life against a bog average opponent. The Johnson goal just masked that, and many were saying it. If you defend well for 90', and terribly for 6' when under huge pressue, you're still not a good defender.

That last 15mins was so typical of the last few years. I’m so angry. Giving up possession for no reason, getting caught out. If I wasn’t so angry I’d laugh. Cos it was pathetic.

Hojbjerg was shite and all three of them were to blame for both goals.
See I can't blame the players. They are being asked to do things they just aren't capable of doing. Should never have started PEH and should have been braver with the team selection at the back. We couldn't move the ball out from the back because the players brought in just aren't able to do it. It kept us under pressure just like we saw week in week out under Conte.

Fair play to Wolves - shit they have been through this season you can't begrudge them.

Pretty lacklustre from us. Just shows to me how the style of football we are trying to play does not and cannot include a side which has the likes of Dier, Gil, Emerson and Hojbjerg in it. I'd be playing the youngsters showing incredible promise over them right now and kindly show them the exit door as soon as possible. They hinder our play and, whilst maybe technically better players than our incredible youth players coming through, are so anti-ange football, that they bring the level of the team down more than a less complete but tactically strong youth player would.

If we are to lose with both set ups, let's lose by giving those with incredible potential more game time to learn and grow, rather than individuals we won't be seeing in a year.

Love reading some of the comments when we lose. Proper knee jerk shit.

We lost that game in the midfield and didnt create enough chances. Wolves were more aggressive. They deserved the win. Forget about blaming the ref (wasn't that bad considering some of the others we've had this season), or the B team centre backs who actually had a decent game.

Forget it and move on to the next one.
