Morning all.

Apologies iof this has been covered before, but any word on where Woodgate is at the moment? Has he picked up a serious injury?

Probably something to do with his hair if you read the current theme in other threads

I was surprised he wasn't involved this weekend but i'm still sure he's ok. Along with Ledley, Woody is one of the few players you don't need to worry about how welll he'll play so by trying out back up combinations you also get a chacne to protect them for the season start.

He was in the piccy of players picking up the trophy last night. They wheeled him in on a bed hooked up to IV and a nurse was sat on his bed.

only the first half, Hudd went to CB in the second half before King came on for him.

Think both Ledley and Woody are fine - Juande knows they can be a bit fragile so he's only giving them small run-outs in pre-season. They're both experienced so they don't need as much to get up to match level.

Personally, I'm more worried about the Scottish Cafu...

OK this is the definitive answer for questions like this:

Pre-season is a time for moulding the team, seeing what works and what doesn't. Players will not play in every game, especially ones with such a poor injury record. I for one am glad he hasn't played much, same with King as it means they have less chance of getting injured before the start of the season.

That said, i am a bit worried about Hutton.
