Especially if we can get any transfer business done early as well, and not the problems we have faced in the last 2 summers with them being dragged out affairs. This would be even more of a bonus for Poch to get to work with them and integrate them in to the team alllowing for more rotation next season.

Without going into what positions we need to improve on, I do hope we get any business done early. That would give any incoming players, and any coming up from the academy, a full pre-season. The added bonus of no summer tournaments for the International players should mean the start the new season fully rested. I really believe that we can win the league next year. Yes I accept that we will be adversely affected by any injuries, but as it seems probable that all 6 of the likely contenders will have European competitions next year so will they.

A good start to the season is essential to pick up the morale and intensity that we are finishing this season.
