we will regardless. a change in temporary coach now won't suddenly make us any better for the remainder of the season. swiad is rotten.
Oh I agree mate the season is over now but at least for morale sake going into the summer I'd rather see Redknapp and Mason in for the final few games. More likely to me Mason & Powell though.

What it is proving is that it really doesn't matter who is in charge of this group of players. You could stick Pep in charge and you'd have the same issues.

It proves that the squad still needs massive rebuild work and the football operational structure needs a lot of work to get it set up correctly.

I don't think it's right that Stellini is in charge, but i don't see anyone else make any difference at this point.

For me, I've drawn a line under this season and now it's about making decisions and putting things in place to get us set up for pre-season.

Red Adair wouldn't be able to rescue this disaster. The damage is largely done and we might just have to suck it up for the remainder of games. The suggestions of Redknapp and Hoddle aren't viable. And any manager with an eye for a future wouldn't join this shitshow and risk their own name being tarnished by association.
Redknapp suggestion is viable in terms of an option, he's repeatedly said recently he'd come and help the club.

Hoddle absolutely not we don't want to add literally killing a club legend on the job with his heart issues to our list of Spursyness under Levy.

Would only be fitness and specialist coaches left to take over for Mason

To be fair it doesnt look like we're being coached very well at all. Get Yaya and whoever in to help. Cant be any worse than what we've seeing.

I feel sorry for Stellini, it isnt his fault he was put in this position. Yes he accepted it but who wouldnt if you were offered more money and a potential bonus for CL qualification. He comes across well at times although has shown that he isnt really a tactician

Surely Simon Davies is the best bet?

Managed Anderlecht when Kompany decided he needed to be a player rather than player manager for half of his first season there.

Has managed City u21s and youth teams, is now Head of methodology with us.

Mason and Powell as assitants. Vorm as GK-coach. Rest of the staff from within.

Edit: Some research - he was care-taker and later manager for Chester City 08-09 and won 4 of 29 games. He managed Anderlecht for 5 games and won zero. So maybe not the best idea.

Stuart Lewis or Simon Davies would be my shout. I doubt it would get any better giving it to Mason now after he's been assistant to Stellini. Think it would need to be someone who hasn't been an active part of the first-team this season. Someone to come in with fresh eyes, ideas and a blank slate in the eyes of the players.
