Not the best, but I loved watching Arron Lennon play.
When he got the ball everyone was off their seats, the guy was electric in he’s prime and I think he would have made a decent wing back in todays game as he was very good at tracking back and defending too.

Dele, Anderton, Gazza, Dembele and Kane my other favorites

Yeah I'm not really able to pick one individual player. We are fortunate to have been blessed with some amazing talent over the years. Each era has its own idol IMO.

80's - Hoddle, Gazza
90's - Ginola, Klinnsman
00's - Ledley, Keane, Defoe
10's - Bale, Dembele, Dele
now - Kane, Son, Lloris
Nice list but no Van Der Vaart ! ? how dare you not include Rafa ! ?

Hoddle closely followed by Gazza for me .Each and every top player we had that left the club always gutted me but none more so than Michael Carrick , for some reason I was total devastated by him leaving what a Rolls-Royce of a player he was and I can see a lot of similarities with Bentancur.

Carrick was so so underrated wasn’t he! Really made us tick under Jol, such a classy player, I agree I see some Carrick in Bentancur too, also such a rolls-Royce of a CM.

Bale

for two seasons i felt like we had the worlds best player and i wanted to watch games simply to see him destroy teams by powering past them or unleashing a thunderbolt. Shame we didn't get to see it for longer.

From a pure 'feeling he gave me' perspective he wins it. i've not seen another player in my life time where i couldn't care less who the other 10 players were on the team sheet.

Surprised Ozzy doesn't get more mentions. Would have loved to have seen him and Luka on the same pitch. 2 brilliant players.

Going for Son for me, despite his wretched season so far. There are other players that hit higher heights and i've enjoyed more, but i'm factoring longevity, have been able to root for him in our colours for longer and he's given us great moments across more years than the rest so Son wins out.

Bale, young Dele, VDV, Teddy, Berba, Ginola are those i'm referring to, if only we couldve kept them longer fs!

Started watching in 1958
My top 5
Greaves
Mckay
Hoddle
Gazza
Bale

We have had so many wonderful players who I loved apart from the top5 but so few wonderful teams
Jennings Chivers Conn Ozzie Jurgen Berba Waddle VDV King Ginola and of course Harry all of whom have made Spurs worth watching just to see them play . Great memories to warm up old age.
Hoping Romero Kulu and Bentacur will be added o the list

No Cliff Jones (not to be confused with Chris!!!) or Blanchflower or White?

From my time 74 onwards I’d also have to add Teddy/Carr/Carrick/Lennon/Modric & Dembele to your list

Should have put Jones and White on the list failing memory as they were wonderful
As far as Danny was concerned he was a superb captain but for me never had the magic in his game tge others had

Ginola. He lit up whl during pretty dark days.

I was on the tube once and as we were arriving at seven sisters the driver said "for anyone going to watch the David Ginola show please get off at the next stop".

What a player he was!

Bale for me, because I think he is the best Spurs player I've seen. I don't recall a more dominant Spurs player.
Modric is 2nd but he improved in RM and doesn't win games on his own.

So many great players but for their last seasons at our club both Waddle and Bale were unplayable . Could win games single handedly . I still remember picking up the Sun newspaper as a 15 year old and seeing the headline ‘Waddle to Marseille for £4.5m ‘ and literally crying !!
