The rich dude has just passed the test so I dout that
reports say that portsmouth now have a billionaire owner. Would this affect the crouch transfer?
How on earth can you make that look like a good thingLooks like we have Crouch as Sunderland have pulled out of the deal saying that Crouch wants to stay in the south. With Harry and Defoe basically saying "we want you at Spurs" I am 90% certain he will be with us by the weekend.
I for one am happy a good footballer who will do the job for us, just need to ship out Bent (i know he scores goals and I dont mind him but he doesnt seem to bring others into the game).
Europe, pratically guaranteed first team football, less fans that demand Messi type signings, yes, yes I do.
This is the same Fulham who the season before last only managed not to get relegated on goal difference!
Fulham have had one decent season in recent history.
Spurs have had decent season for the last 4 years, barring the one just gone by, where had Harry's record been extrapolated over the season we would have finished 5th in the league. We mad a cup final and won that same cup the season before, beating Chelsea in the final.
Fulham may turn out to have the same success as us in a few season time, but we are the better club over the last few seasons, without a shadow of a doubt.
If we swap Bent for Crouch I'd be happy, especially if we get more £ for Bent than we pay for Crouch. Would prefer KJH to Crouch, but maybe we are thinking of both in a ideal world, and we have Crouch, KJH, Keane and Defoe as the strikeforce next season, with Pav being offloaded.
I hope you're rightIn a pure footballing sense, Fulham would be the better option.
Who wants to sit on the bench?

That really is clutching at straws. A report from tribal football, that bastion of football integrity, from the 1st of Feb.
Really haven't much too choose from has heI like Crouch. So does Capello. So do his teammates at club and England level. He is an excellent target man, on the ground and in the air. He has sublime touch for a guy his size and can score some spectacular goals (see the videos earlier in the thread). He brings in the 'smaller' players around him, and is a 'smart' footballer; it will be interesting to see how him and Keane combine. He will certainly put in a shift.
Good Buy IMO
