The youngsters have looked good tonight. Shame we forgot how to defend.

Lots of attacking positives, little defensive positives, which since we didn't have a DM on show isn't all that surprising.

Positives

Parrett looked good
Walker once again looks like he deserves to be a starter for this side, not just a backup
GDS had a good half and will hopefully give Harry a reason to give him a run
Rose played really well in the center. Very strong and cool on the ball

Sure we smashed Roma 5-0 or something and we know what happened then. pre season means fuck all, and im pretty sure the likes of keane, jenas, hutton etc wont be here come 1/9/10. Nice to see the younger lads getting a chance against a european side. It how we do in our first 4 games that really matters.

Oh sh*t no, how many points behind are we after this?

Yes, it is just a run out

I dunno, but I knew a few fans who are £20 + travel money down and a whole host who are a few quid down after buying the stream from spurs tv....

I only got in for the second half and it looked like Walker and Dos Santos done alright, the others looked tired to be fair.... as you would if you kept travelling all over the place.

Taarabt is the funniest Professional footballer I have ever seen, he plays like that older kid who turned up over who no one knew and just took everyone on all the time

Positives - Gio, Walker and Bale were very good. We now know not to play Corluka CB

Negatives - Keane and defoe didnt work well together as usual. Jenas and hutton looked poor and will be gone IMO. We were defensively shocking.

Jesus, the commentator likes to put a downer on it. A lot of positives there, particularly Walker, Rose and Gio. Good to see some effort put in by a few that need to be fighting for their place at the club.

Anyone else think that could potentially be the last time we see Jenas in a Spurs shirt. Wouldn't be unknown for him to be 'injured' for a while now.

I thought that was an excellent friendly for us. It will give us a taste of what to expect in Europe. The result doesn't matter but is still enough to embarrass some of the team/management into progressing further. After beating Roma 5-0 then losing 47 games in a row, i'm quite happy to lose friendlies as long as we learn from them, which i'm sure we will. Short, quick passing = hard to beat.

Lets hope they do indeed take stock of it rather than just dismissing the result as meaningless.

You need to read people's posts before you kick off with such an overreaction. It really is quite ironic.

Right. So you think I just came on here and posted the first
thing that came into my head.

Carry on.:duh:
