If he is available there will be bigger teams after him unfortunately. I don't think it is even worth discussing.
Milito on the other hand? Would be perfect for us!

Cabaye? Really? That's a shock. He must have had a mad half hour.
I found this quite surprising too, he could have played in the Champions League with Lille next season so why pick Newcastle who are quite frankly, a rather jolly crazy club...

Why would ManU sell the EPL top scorer for £7,5m and why would Berba move to Toons? He could get CL footy with many clubs in Europe.
"Berbatov, who cost United £30.75m in September 2008, has always liked Newcastle having idolised Toon legend Alan Shearer when he was a boy."
So Berba have been a closet fan of the Toons
Was well known even when he was with us.
Fan of Shearer/Newcastle & Basten/Milan

It is my dream to play for United...no-one can deny me my dream.

I see a pattern emerging, here:grin:
Yeah, thers not one saying it was his dream to pay for tottenham the bastard!!
Berbatov was desperate to stay at United till the end of his career. Now, after Ferguson omitted him from the squad for the CL final, no-one knows what he would do.
He would probably prefer to return to Spurs rather than move back to Germany or sign for an Italian club. If he is ready to leave Man U and Spurs are ready to sign him, chances are he will rather play for Spurs than, say, Bayern or Milan. He likes to play in the PL, it's a better league than Seria A and the Bundelsiga.
I'll let you know if his agent or Berbatov himself says something interesting in the next days. He himself wouldn't want a Spurs star to be included in the deal, say Modric or Bale, as he would hope to play for a team that would challenge for the league.
No surprise to see the standard arguments against Berbatov coming out again. Take out the bitterness over his exit and you have a player who would put away all the ridiculous chances we missed this season, and link up our play fantastically. Can you imagine the chances Bale, Modric and VdV would set up for him? My only concerns would be a) United wanting Modric as part of the deal, an b) Levy being too proud to take him back. I personally would love to see Berbatov back again, and as I have said before, I think a lot of poster's tunes may be changed when he starts banging the goals in for us.
Mr Levy. Falcao and Berbatov please.
They are your concerns and from what I've read so far, the majority doesn't share your opinion SP and the consensus is people would like him back at the club.
You tell me a better, realistic target that could do the job at the price being mooted.
Still no money in French football probably. Players get paid nothing compared to PL, and that is the bottom line to most of them.
Three reasons
1. Money
2. Joey Barton's warmth and Charisma particularly to foreign teammates
3. Warm climate
