Harry has always purchased premiership players and foreigners outside of England. To think he only buys premiership players, and is looking at just premiership players is very naive and very cherry picking the info you are seeing to suit your agenda and view of Redknapp.

There are reports that we have had bids rejected for Osvaldo and Leandro.
Reports of him being in France, Spain and Portugal every other week watching the likes of Hazard, Gervinho, Gameiro, Falcao, Hulk, and Osvaldo, yet most of you just want to concentrate on the 'not so flash' ITK of Friedel and Parker, like its a done deal we've signed them.

Grow up and just take everything with a bucket full of salt until its official on the website.

18 i believe? Was a good signing imo! Had a poor year last year but im hopeful we ll see the old Defoe again this season

He won 'writers' player of the year.

Of course he is half decent, no-one is saying he is shit, he is just very over hyped by the media, which is understandable, hes english and a nice lad after all.

I have watched him regularly, and hes the kind of player that can do no wrong according to commentators and pundits, they ignore when he is out of position, failing to mark attacking threats, and there isnt a whimper when he misplaces a pass.... but as soon as he puts in a meaty slide tackle or a decent challenge that he should be making anyway its "Parker has been brilliant, what dedication, blah blah" and any mistakes he has made get forgotten.

Off the top of my head, Di Canio, Sandro, VDV, Diarra, Kranjcar, De Zeeuw, Benjani, Eyal Berkovic, Igor Stimac, Lua Lua, Yakubu, Sulley Muntari, and Papa Bouba-Diop.

That's a good side, just Juande had no connection to the team. 8 of those 13 that played in the game would be in our starting 11 now if fit or in Bent's case, was still here.
