Right, I dont claim to be ITK so dont take it as such, but having read this I do feel the need to put my two pence worth in. A young lady who told me that friedel had signed three days before it was done, who also told me about Chelsea bidding for Modric last week, had sent me a text this afternoon saying "Levy desperate for Benzema" ... again im not claiming to be ITK but it just seem's very coincidental to me. Take it as you will.

Modric's agent situation is quite confusing. Zdravko Mamic has always represented him (including arranging the new contract last year) and is quite pally with Levy.

This Nikki Vuksan seems new, though apparently he's Mamic's assistant.

The transfer windows well and truly kicked off now.

Get Benzema in, get Leandro in, get someone else in. Show Modric, Bale, VDV we mean business and win a cup, grab 4th+ and the only way is up.

Peanut is right. I posted it in the mod forum a couple of hours ago. Kia is the one who leaked the Chelsea bid to the media, and has been the go between for Chelsea and Modric. I wouldn't be surprised if the Modric "quotes" were from him too.

As in Joorabchian leaked what Modric said or Joorabchian made them up to engineer a move?

the quotes said by modric would almost certainly have been scripted by an agent (kia??)

I don't know, that's just me thinking aloud. I know that Joorabchian was the one who made public the bid and has been the main protagonist in the whole ordeal, whether the quotes are actually fabricated by him, or just his influence on Luka I don't know, just wouldn't surprise me. Could actually be Modric's doing, though I doubt we'd be in this situation, had Kia not been involved.
