Forgot about him, although he's not looked particularly destructive in the U21s so far. Fair point though, he'd certainly do a job, and he's young and English.

Also Jol said that in 2005 he wants VDV, Sniejder & Kuyt from Ajax, all were couldn't costs £25m but the club went for British policy ?

even Ramos, approved the club policy and we sold our striker in last day of the transfer window, but all the blame gone for him ?

yes, Levy did a lot of good things here, i like him and he is the ones who care about long term future, but he must trust Redknapp, what Redknapp did until now for us, speaks for it's self.

So the latest bit of ITK about a young South American is most likely Antonio Whitam, the anglo-mexican kid who was recently called up for the England U20s. Worries me that he was rejected by Arsenal and Chelsea and that Fulham are interested. Is he really a better prospect than our own Harry Kane for example?

A lot of revisionism going on there.

Hoddle wanted Eto'o but Real Madrid still had an option/part ownership of him which screwed things up.

Hoddle wanted Morientes but there were injuries at Madrid and he was convinced to stay another year (and went to Monaco the summer after that). So we bought Robbie Keane (our player of the 00s) instead.

The only player Levy ever stopped Hoddle buying was Lee Bowyer, but that was to do with the club's reputation. Appears he did the same re Redknapp and Bellamy. They were not about money though.

Santini left because he wanted to live by the sea (or something). Arnesen was signing hundreds of players for him.

vdV and Sneijder were well out of our league at that point. He did want Kuyt, but Comolli won the argument and we bought Berbatov instead.

Joorabchian works with Pini Zahavi (who did the Ashley Cole tapping up, and is very close with Abramovich, Kenyon and Redknapp).
