It's a moral issue that I feel strongly about. I'm nowhere near as hurting about Modric, or scared that he will go this summer, as most are, but I simply cannot put up with 100% lies being publicised on a daily basis.

The whole British media is an evil machine, and one that I don't wish to give any money to, if possible. The NOTW stuff this week has been nothing short of disgusting as well.

NFL is limited not only by it being a nationalized football/rugby, suffering the same constraints on employers and employees as Aussie Rules, Gaelic and to a lesser extent Rugby League, but also in the fact that the standards of physical minimums is even more harsh than the 3 above.

NHL has more employers but a limited pool by climate. And even some climates don't play the sport.

NBA is the only one that has more options for both, but nobody cares about it. :grin:

I'll get slated for this but it's a shame about baseball. Maybe it's because I'm half american (dual citizen) and have spent a lot of time there but I used to love it and will still watch it when I'm over there. I saw a Mets game at Shea and it was one of the best sports events I've been too.

I don't know how I can tie that in with ITK so I'll stop there

Would someone (dinomp?) mind writing up a short explanation which we could put as a story on newsnow, including what Sky are reporting and why it's wrong.

Seen it myself, it was that absolute idiot Gary Cotterill, the guy is a muppet.

I watched an interview he gave with Dick Advocaat during the world cup last year, he asked Advocaat if he had anything lined up for the future, was he taking it easy until something came along etc. Advocaat just stared at him and replied "Ive was appointed coach of Russia 2 months ago" to which Cotterill didnt know where to look or what to say. Of course he is still employed by SSN basically sums up the standard of their reporting / reporters, twats.
