why spend 15+ million on center half when this guy might come avaialable!!
Lucio is set for crunch talks with Inter Milan on Saturday, as the two parties look to thrash out a new deal. The Brazil defender's contract is due to expire next summer and he wants an extension to 2014, though Inter are reportedly only willing to offer a one year deal. Bayern Munich are thought to be waiting in the wings to bring him back to the Bundesliga.
as for tevez, if juve rumours are true it might be great for us with regards rossi chances.

Why not? There are ways round a wage structure.
Depends if we are changing our wage structure. Club revenue has probably increased over the last year, as has its profile.
We probably have been able to pay 85k a week for a while now, just we've chosen not to.

I'd still prefer Vucinic to Rossi. Of course if it was both then fantastic, but I really can't see us spending 50m on two new strikers.

I think Keane is closest. Out of the others, I would hope to lose Crouch so long as, the replacements are much stronger.

My optimism is undiminished as still none of our genuine targets have moved elsewhere yet and I am reading much more belief in our ITK.
PS before anyone says it Gervinho(jerkora) wasn't a serious target.
