Personally DP for his own career I think he should move. If we have Modric, Sandro, Diarra and Hudd he's fifth on that list...hypothetically of course...and if Palacios ended up staying make that sixth and we simply have to shift to him.

I suspect we are looking to off load Palacios and Jenas, with Diarra coming in.

I know the O'hara deal was closer to £3.5million .
The Roger Johnson deal that was reported to be £7million in the media, i know was only £4million in reality. That shocked me more than the n'zogbia fee.

I understand what you're saying DP, and to some extent I agree, but if he isn't going to be used by Harry now that its a squad game, we need to get shot of him to free up a squad space & some wages for someone Harry will rotate in.

why have they been reported wrongly? Are you sure your not taking into account additional future fees like we had with Bale?

Also how come you dont think we wont get/arnt interested in Adebayor when Redknapp has openly said to the press that Daniel is trying? Thanks.

Absolutely...we need to get some out the door and Jenas is most definitely on the list to try and shift. Levy will have his list and there might be a preference from the management but in reality other variables and factors determine what can be done.

If we get a decent offer for Jenas we should be taking it all day long.

Exactly this, I live in Nottingham at the moment and Jenas is out on the town quite frequently in Notts. Birmingham to Notts is a very quick Journey.

i wud love to believe the journos info about all 3 joining villa especially jenas who is an awful player with no chance of getting game next season. i know its only pres season and its all about fitness but even out in SA games he was truly shocking.

I just keep thinking on mcleish last week saying he has enough money for one more player other than nzogbia. i cant see villa blowing 15 million let alone more on 3 players from one club, no way.

How Ironic that Villa spent 24 million on a player that wasn't good enough for Spurs last January and set this ridiculous market for English players. Andy Carroll was 35. Stewart Downing was 20. Henderson was 20.

Are our players undervalued? Well Crouch played more games than Bent last year and while he produced 9 less goals, he did have many more assists.

Henderson played only 8 more games than Jenas.

And Hutton was injured and still played 26 matches for us last year.

While fans may not rate them, they also don't do deals, and management did find them worthy enough to play 94 matches combined. So maybe 15 million for 3 Champions League players is a bit low.

I have said before and the moderator knows how strong my Midlands links are. Thats why i can give you where things like the villa medicals will take place and that they have hired the Belfry etc.
I know how much Wolves paid.

There could be many reasons why they have been reported wrong and by who. The strongest in the Johnson case being Birmingham needed the money. I dont know how much Sunderland paid for criag gardener but i bet it wasnt very much.

forget what skysports are saying. whether or not the tottenham 3 have medicals tomorrow is just a suggestion because that have booked the BMI medical center all day. N'zogbia will have medical tomorrow. the deal might be finalised Friday but the medical is definitly tomorrow. Like i say, they cant believe they have sold Downing for £20million and bought in N'zogbia for less than £10million. They wont want to hold out on getting it done.
