Have to agree with those who have thanked The Journalist for his info... rate, like or not, its ITK and it at least gives us something to discuss!

As for the £15m reject or not, i think it's only sensible... you don't accept the first offer, its almost ALWAYS lower than what a club is actually willing to play.

Yes I know we as fans want it done quickly to release squad spaces and funds for better players, but the reason we have cahs at Spurs is because we are prepared to negotiate.

Whilst maybe some hardcore negotiating has cost us in the past, I think by and large it has served this club very well and if DL thinks its realistic to squeeze a few Million more out of Villa then who are we to criticise.

Unless it all goes t*ts up, in which case, UNLEASH THE HOUNDS!!!

None of them are crap. Hutton and Crouch have played an important role in the squad at various times in the last 2 seasons and Jenas is a very talented player who I still think would be in the same league as the best midfielders in the league if he had got his head straight earlier in his career.

We can improve on all three certainly but to say they are 'a shower of shit' is the sort of nonsense that gets spouted by far too many people both in here and at the ground.

Levy will not care about the prices we paid for them as from an accounting point of view, it doesn't make much difference anymore - the fees paid have already been amortised over the length of the initial contract. Anything is a profit and he will take what he can get.

i think most and most important lebvy would not rate jenas at £3M, - downing is not really worth more than £8M maybe pushing £9M, but with current inflation £20M he went for everyones thinking WTF!!!!

i think £7-8M is fair for Jenas, seasoned Prem player, also international player too played more international games than downing!!!

£15m seems pretty fair, based on 7m Crouch, 5m Jenas & 3m Hutton (last year of contract)...You could argue that Jenas may be worth a tad more but 15m doesn`t seem too far away, interesting that Jenas would be the most reluctant to move as imo he`d be worth keeping, decent player that can have some very good games, home grown, experienced and doesn`t seem to mind being a squad player.

For me if the Journos info is spot on then once the haggling is done the outcome could look like Crouch £9m Jenas £5-6m and Hutton £2-3m hopefully £17m for the 3 maybe more knowing Levy he will prob come up with adds just to squeeze everything he can from the Villa coffers!!

Whatever gets said about Keane i still have love for the guy over 100 goals for THFC cannot go without praise...i hope he does move on and does well for somebody else except for when he plays us ofcourse
