Funny how we had the same 'deadwood' when Levy was carting all his money about Spain in January...

...BEFORE we raised our European profile with a good run in the CL and got our money for finishing 5th...

Well.... even accounting for the fact that we won't sign anyone this summer... we still have 29/30 senior players! We can't register them all in the 25 man squad.

Something's got to give. I don't like the term deadwood, but some players have to be moved on. For the good of the club and the players themselves...

Exactly. That is my issue regarding the excuse of 'we need to sell first'.

If we don't sell soon, will our targets still be available?

We can put in bids all over the place but if the player doesn't want to come it doesn't make a difference. Maybe no one wants to sign for Spurs. If Rossi/Llorente etc said no in January what's going to change their mind now?

Could everyone please take a moment of this stressful day just to imagine Daniel Levy in January pushing around a wheelbarrow around Spain filled with wads of cash searching high and low for a striker, popping in to football stadiums across the country. The thought made me smile.
